This deck box has been in my apartment, sitting on my desk ever since I bought it. I was cleaning recently, picked it up to dust it off and I noticed the back side was coming off. The back panel was about 50% off, I got curious, and now its 100% off. Apparently there is some very weak adhesive on the back side holding the back flap to the box. Now I could fix this quite easily with some super glue but thats not the point. Ive contacted Ultimate Guard regarding this issue and if/when they respond I will update this review. *UPDATE - 12/29/2017* It has been a while since my initial review but I contacted Ultimate Guard and they took care of me. Now the time it took from then to now isnt a poor reflection of Ultimate Guard, I just never followed through like I should have. Nevertheless, after all this time I decided to finally reach out to them and they were great. They asked for simple stuff like proof of purchase and pictures but that was it. Initially they didnt have any black flip n trays available but since mine was black and I really wanted my replacement to be black I communicated this to them and they accommodated me, no issues. Now, I suppose theres a chance this one might come apart like the last one but only time will tell. Ill be sure to follow up if/when that does happen but I feel optimistic. Im chalking this one up to a fluke for now and have changed my review to a 5 star rating. All in all, this case is made of nice material, it looks cool, and should protect your cards well as long as you dont get one with weak adhesive on it... I do hope this issue has been rectified. Regardless, if you come across any problems, Ultimate Guard will take care of you just contact them.

I can fit 4 Cardfight Vanguard decks in it comfortably - my main, double-sleeved Overdress deck (Bushi art sleeves with Dragon Shield Matte Outers), and my 3 side decks (all single sleeved in Dragon Shields). Thats 210 cards: 50 in each of my Overdress decks, and 60 in my V Premium deck (including Quick Shield and a 5/4 split of single-sided Imaginary Gifts). I keep the double sleeved and V Premium decks in the same drawer and its a tight squeeze - in theory there should be wiggle room, since thats only 110 cards, and the box is cited for 266+ double sleeved cards. But its a snug fit. There definitely is not room for 20 more cards even unsleeved. The top with 100 single sleeved cards is not quite as tight, but there is definitely not room for 50 more single sleeved cards - the info says 315+ single sleeved cards, so each bin should be good for 150-ish, but not so much in my case. I understand that not all sleeves are created equal - or cards, for that matter. The measurements were probably made for MtG cards in Ultimate Guard sleeves. It was disappointing I could not slide a 5th deck in as Id planned when I purchased it. Aside from that, its a fantastic box. The green is very understated online, its gorgeous in person. The marker drawer has enough room for my D6s and my 3D printed CFVG markers. It does pass my rendition of The Professors shake test. It fits perfectly in the camera bag I use to haul my TCG gear. And, I actually like to look at it - sure, deckboxes should be functional, but if you can have form too, why not? Just make sure you dont actually *need* to hit the advertised upper limit, like I wanted to, because Im not sure you can without risking damage to the cards.

As a player who has always used UltraPro Satin Towers in the past, there are things I both like and dislike about this case. The exterior is good quality that doesnt seem to take damage very easily. The magnets are study and take a lot of work to come undone by unconventional means. It has two trays to hold cards, tokens and other miscellaneous items while offering a much smaller pull out compartment for dice between them. The flaps with the magnets can be annoying at times if youre trying to situate the large case, hold them open and pull a compartment free. Each compartment has a side with a finger sized divot, which means in order to easily pull the compartment out, you need to make sure that youre inserting the compartment back into the case the correct way. I personally see this as a flaw as it couldve easily been designed to have this divot on each side. Each of the card compartments can easily hold 60 double sleeved cards with a fair enough amount of space that the cards wont be crushed against the sides. You could probably fit around a hundred double sleeved cards in each of the card compartments, but it will most likely be an extremely tight fit. On the subject of a tight fit, the card trays are a little on the snug side. When youre dealing with a quality of cards around 60 plus, it can be a little annoying getting the cards to first be inserted in the card trays. Each card tray has a cloth like material that lines it and you can easily see ether card sleeves edges catching against the material as theyre being inserted. As a Magic the Gathering player who predominantly plays modern, I use one half to hold my double sleeved, 60 card mainboard. The center tray holds my dice and my tarmogyf relic counter, while the opposite tray is used to hold my double sleeved 15 card sideboard, divider, elk, food, and zombie tokens with ease. This case is taller and wider than an UltraPro Satin Tower, which means depending on how you transport your decks and materials you might have to take its size into consideration. All in all, its a nice case, with nothing to really complain about other than its size and the card trays being tight. I wouldnt much see a need to carry more than one of this type of deck box, unless I have too many tokens to fit along with my 75-card deck in a satin tower. I believe that the minimized size design of the satin tower is simply what keeps me using them over this particular case.

The Ultimate Guard twin flip n tray is a great design having 2 compartments for your cards and 1 mid compartment for your accessories as I use mine carrying Dice; not sure up to what card capacity as I use the case with my Yu‑Gi‑Oh cards but feels very rigid to protect as I was able to shake the case intensely and the magnet closure never opened up. The Petrol color is my favorite and was a great choice picking out as it is pleasing to the eye. All in all this deck case feels very premium for your cards which does come out a bit pricy but it is what separates Ultimate Guard from the rest as you are buying one of the best Deck Cases you can get your hands on.

Ive been using this deck box for just over a year now and its still in the same working condition as the day I got it. Initially I used the main trays with 100-card Commander decks in the new Dragon Shield Matte sleeves which allowed for some breathing room for the cards. Then I put KMC Perfect Size sleeves within the Dragon Shield sleeves and while its a much tighter fit, it is still possible to fit a 100-card deck in each tray. Its important to note the top and bottom cards will slightly bend due to the space constraints. Since noticing that I have switched from Dragon Shield Mattes to the Ultra Pro Eclipse sleeves and am much happier. Some reviews stated issues with the glue and other things, but I have not experienced any issues yet.

bought this used from amazon warehouse and saved about 12 bucks. heres the deal, the product is amazing, as everyone knows ultimate guard is the best pro card carrying storage option. so the product is a 9.5/10 my only complaint is that on one of the pieces of felt on the inside is very bubbly and will probably start to detach down the road. having said all of this, I think buying it used was completely worth it due to amazons side. because Amazon Warehouse listed it as acceptable and in ruff shape cosmetically. this beast was still in its original box all be it the box was a little dinged up. the case exterior itself is immaculate without a scratch. so the only real fault with this box is the felt coming off the side of the case on the inside which is why Im presumably imagining its been used and probably returned for one not defective. Im still ecstatic that I was able to pick up this other wise expensive box for a rather affordable price. over all an excellent transaction of amazons side, and a almost perfect product on ultimate guards side.

    Greater than one week

Positives: +Sturdy protection +Vibrant Color +Removable dice tray +Strong Magnets Negatives -Sleeved cards do not fit in the removable deck tray the same side as the finger hole. I am using ultimate guard katana sleeves, but the sleeved cards do not the opening, but rather one of the walls. I’d like to open the deck box and have the cards facing me.

This is a nice case. Its sturdy, and looks good. Has a heft too it. Time will tell how long it lasts, though Im just a casual player so it should be fine. Kind of pricey for what it is but nicer than others.

Its great, holds two double sleeved decks and gives you that extra protection, it also has a middle container you can use for extra cards/dice. Magnets hold strong and the decks stay put. The only sly is that the decks can be hard to get out at first, but with a little bit of use that problem fixed itself. 5/5 would recommend to any starter/advanced player, just ordered my second one in blue :D

I am a big fan of this deck box, having mostly used Ultra Pro Satin Towers or cheapo Ultra Pro boxes in the past. I will say it can be a little challenging to get the trays out of the box on occasion but otherwise I have no issues. Contrary to some of the other reviews, I exclusively use mine to store double sleeved cards and I have no problems using the trays. I use KMC perfect fits for my inner sleeves, and Ive used a variety of outer sleeves including Ultra Pro Eclipse, Ultimate Guard Katana, and Dragon Shield Art sleeves. Some are snugger fits than others, so its possible that really thick sleeves might not work, but most of the brands Ive tried work fine.
