The picture indicates you can simply tie the top, as with a bag that has 4 ears at the opening. This is not the actual item received. The item received has the little paper covered wire ties which is not what I wanted, but what I ordered - my fault for not looking closer at the description versus the picture. They are a quality bag - would buy them again.

Every single bag just rips open on the side seam. I was only putting blankets and clothing in my bags and these are supposed to be for construction!! The plastic is very heavy duty but the side seams are useless. Almost every bag already had the start of a ripped seam even before we used them. We had to waste packing tape on all the seams. DO NOT BUY! Update*** the bags also smell toxic. Super strong chemical smell mixed with burning rubber and will give you a migraine. Now I get to wash all of my clean linen again. Yay me.

Relatively narrow neck. Does not fit around Rubbermaid Roughneck 45 gallon cart, which is disappointing. But the quality of the materials is good.

I like the thickness as I pick up a lot of broken glass and I’ve found these to be the most affordable and durable bags for heavy loads without tearing!

Used these for serious yard cleanup of brush, trimmings and slope debris. Filled them. Rolled them down the slope. Carries them (heavy!) to the bins. They endured. Twigs did puncture the bag, but the bags didnt tear. Will definitely buy again.

In my line of work, I need dependable heavy duty bags that wont rip, tear and not be easy to tie shut. This brand checks all of my requirements and are the only ones that I will use on a job. They have never failed me in the 3 years sine Ive opened my business. Worth every penny. Highly recommended - the only choice.

Ive been buying the heavy duty 3ml , mainly from home depot, but got these from amazon instead. Didnt realize they come with ties , the twisty kind, not Flaps. Since Flaps are much more convenient i thought they were now standard... I will be more careful to read the fine print next time

Have yet to use one of these bags-----have removed one to inspect and was impressed----the box arrived and just by the weight of the box indicated that these were thicker than others listed as the same----the ones I am using at this time come from Lowes and have used them for several years----I really look forward to my starting the use of these bags---at this time I feel safe in saying these bags will do everything the bag I am now using AND then some!!! I fully plan to purchase these again when I need more bags!!!
