We bought this initially to help protect us from the rain while we were out hiking, but the headband pinches the kids too tightly around their heads. Also, the umbrella part doesnt come down far enough to protect your ears and chin from the rain. My son wears hearing aids, I wouldnt recommend this product to protect hearing aids from getting wet either.

Have only used once Kyaking and it stayed in place even in the wind and provided shade.

These are funny, but they’re cheaply made. Spokes poked through on first use, the slider came off the track. Also, they are extremely tight on adult heads, but hey, they’re worth the ameusment they bring and make cute pics- just not functional!

Fun gifts. I would still wear sunscreen under them.
