Greater than one weekIf ever you have used a self-opening/closing travel umbrella, this will be very familiar. One button to open/collapse the canopy, and a very small footprint when closed and collapsed. The frame is lightweight and flexible, but still strong. The “wind proof” part comes from this frame - there are no special wind flaps or the like to otherwise lessen resistance.

Greater than one weekThis sturdy umbrella is a great size and it snaps open beautifully. It is easy to close, with no finger pinching involved. I love how compact this is when shut, making it incredibly portable and easy to pack or carry!

> 3 daySimple and small. It works as it should, very easy to retract back and it fits back into the sleeve. The pole thing is short but its alright!

> 3 dayThe Umbrellas for Rain Windproof Folding Portable Compact Umbrella with the automatic open-to-close black 42 was so awesome that I couldnt even say anything when I pressed the button and it reminded me of the movie Transformers from the release press. Yes, it had a nice open spread range to it and itll definitely keep the rain off of us considering its been raining almost every day now, its perfect to have. I definitely like the easy folding and the way it was really nice to put it away without struggling so much so that was amazing in itself, thanks so much!

> 3 dayThis is a very convenient umbrella. It fold up very compactly and pops open instantly. I have a similar umbrella that I purchased several years ago and I really like these push button opening umbrellas. The material is interesting in that it feels thicker than the other one I bought. Its not as elegant feeling but, as long as it holds up, it will work well. At such a compact size, its easy to store and carry with you. The push button is a little stiff but Im sure it will get easier to push as it is used more.

> 3 dayThis is a nice, compact, pocket travel umbrella. I ordered it as I wanted a travel umbrella to stash in my backpack for an upcoming trip to Scotland. The push button works to both fully open the umbrella, as well as to partially close it. (Pushing the button when the umbrella is already open releases the tension holding the canopy fully open.) You still have to manually close it the rest of the way, which requires a fair amount of effort to fully retract and lock into place. I cant yet speak to the windproof claim, but the quality of the construction and materials seems pretty decent. The fabric is pretty standard, but it looks like it is attached to the frame fairly well, and the frame itself seems solid and not overly flimsy. I did notice an odd, mildly unpleasant plasticky odor the first time I opened the umbrella, but I am fairly sure it is just the smell of the materials used for the canopy. I am guessing that off-gassing will lessen as it is used.

> 3 dayFirst, the positives: I really like the compact size of this umbrella. It feels sturdy and does give you confidence that it will not be easily blown inside out by stray wind gusts (although I havent had any severe weather to test it out, yet!). It opens easily with the touch of a button and provides adequate coverage for one person. The negative, and for me its a biggie: the umbrella also collapses at the touch of the same button, and when it does, it does so in a somewhat violent manner, giving itself a good shake as it folds, depositing all of the water its collected onto nearby objects (most notably, the person holding the umbrella). If you can remember this and can adequately prepare before collapsing the umbrella, it will be fine. Otherwise, all your hard work at staying dry will be undone when you press that button to close it.

> 3 dayI ended up giving this to my kiddo after watching them struggle to get into the car without getting soaked, then watching them struggle to close the umbrella from the car and get soaked anyway. I have acquired a few of these umbrellas now and every time I get one, one of my family members asks for it because it is super convenient to use. I am hoping to, one day, keep one for myself. The auto-close feature is what makes this awesome. You do have to fully collapse it to re-engage the auto-open again, but I just push it down on the floorboard and it is done in 2 seconds.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is very sturdy and appears to be everything its described to be except for windproof. I dont see any vents or double canopy to let air flow through. It catches the wind like a standard umbrella. If I find out Im mistaken, I will be happy to change this review.
