Unfreedom of the Press

Lucas Family
> 3 dayI received this book as a gift. Im glad I read it but Im appalled that so many people like it. Its so alarming that a fellow journalist would denigrate others in his profession that seek to hold leadership accountable for their characterizations of events, people, other nations, and their own cohorts. We may have freedom of speech but it is not devoid of responsibility. Then again, this is from the person that wrote a conservative manifesto! This nation has seriously lost its way when it embraces the ideologies that promote tyrants and fascism! I pray people wake up SOON!!!

Greater than one weekLevin gives great historical perspective and very detailed description of the general failure of our newspapers and other means of mass media to be fair and objective and this situation seems only to be getting worse. Makes me want to stop taking my local newspaper.
