> 3 dayAbsolutely amazing. Came in on time and is just perfect. I love all the settings that you are able to change. Very easy to setup as well. This is my first cb radio and I wasnt 100% sure if this was the one I wanted but Im glad I decided on this one over the competition, this one is just amazing.

> 3 dayI was never so disapointed in my life had this radio for a week great performance the radio started acting crazy with it shutting off and not staying were you set the rf power at and lost its color choices on the display .Ive had c.b radios before for over 35 years had good and bad this one was a total let down and worked in a c.b radio shop.I stayed with my choice for c.b radios as being motorola very dependable and they still work to this day and the older cobras 148 and 29 fom the philipines. Ive since gave up c.b radios and went into ham radio which is so much better and i can talk cross country 73s

> 3 dayGreat radio for vehicles that have limited areas to mount, I installed mine in a 2001 Cherokee. These are small in size in comparison to others but have many of the features I was looking for in a CB. The lighting is bright and the letters are large and with a 102 whip antenna this thing reaches out. The vendor was fast shipping and arrived very well packaged. The only reason for a 4 star is no radio is perfect.

> 3 dayPretty impressed so far. The built in SWR makes it easy to tune your antenna. On a recent trip I was able to communicate with someone who was a few miles behind me when others in my group could not hear them.

Greater than one weekSo, I put some spade connectors on the wires, connected my coax and new mic, started it up. No surprises so far. I also have a cobra 29 and it has very good reception, this unit (880) may be slightly better. Sound is pretty good, but I think the talk back may be a bit weak. Both the cobra and this unit have all channel and men scanning. The 880 does scan a bit faster which I like. Weather channels come in loud and clear. I also used the diagnostic screen, and will say that the SWR measurement is pretty close, and the value read out is a nice touch. This CB went into a Jeep unlimited rubicon, into a tuffy box. I may go back to a footman loop mount as this unit is quite a bit lighter and smaller than the cobra 29. As far as size, picture something between a uniden 520 , and the cobra 29. About the same width as a 29 but shorter. One other nice touch I thought was the case screws. The case has the same four screws as any CB, but they are recessed, and look very clean. I used the six pin mic that came with the 880 with no issues. My jeep does hit the trails, so longevity will be a concern until it proves itself. Feel free to ask questions, and hope this was helpful.

> 3 dayThis CB was installed in my 2012 JK Unlimited in a Tuffy single-compartment overhead console! This is a sleek unit, with tons of new age technology, such as LCD displays with useful calibration tools built right in for SWR calibration and Antenna tuning!! It has a built in PA option, which of course is always fun to have :) The unit seems to be more powerful than some Cobra competition out there with out pulsing around 5W instead of the industry standard 4W. Couple this with a FireStik antenna, and youre ready to trail ride with ease while keeping in communication with the group! Highly recommended!!

> 3 dayIve been a professional truck driver for almost 23 years and during most of those years Ive used Uniden CB radios with good results. Recently, I decided to update my old Uniden CB to a newer model with more functions/features. After much research and reading I decided upon the Uniden Bearcat 880 CB Radio. Right out of the box the NEW RADIO DID NOT WORK! I contacted Uniden Corp and they said theyd replace it with a FACTORY REFURBISHED UNIT!!!!! Hey I brought a new radio from Uniden, that did not work, right out of the box and theyre going to send me a refurbished replacement! This is wretched customer service - replacing a defective, brand new item with a factory refurbished item! Id recommend any potential Uniden customers think twice about doing business with this company. I know I wont in the future after this experience!

> 3 dayThis is one amazing CB... All the bells & whistles plus good reliable performance. The weather feature works great, but only after I changed the antennas to Wilsons. Original Firesticks didnt get good reception for the weather channels. Built in SWR calibration is also fantastic. 7 selectable day/ night colors too. Too much trouble with Cobra units, so its Uniden for me now.
