Greater than one weekGot it today, box wasnt sealed, no tape, nothing. Looked just like you pulled it from a retail shelf and slapped a label on it. Plus, its dead, put in new batteries, even tried the cigarette lighter cord. Nothing. Dead as a freaking doornail.

> 3 dayWhen I 1st got the radio I could not figure out how to use the scan feature. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it would not. What the instructions will not tell you is that you have to have the squelch knob turned up to the point where there is no more static in order for the scan feature to actually start scanning. I actually went to the trouble of calling customer service only to get someone that was difficult to understand and could barely help me at all. It was only after I sat around and played with it for about an hour that I actually figured out what was going on. That would have been a nice little bit of information to include. I had literally already printed out a return label and put it on a box and was ready to put it back in the package and send it back and figured it out at the last minute.
