> 3 dayInstall and set up instructions were easy to follow. Once hooked up and dialed in, everything appears to work as expected. Price was good, but wish I had opted for the Uniden PRO520XL with the PA feature. Update: After using the CB for nearly a year, havent had any issues at all. It works very well. Depending on which antenna Im using (either 3 or 4) I can receive traffic out as far as 10 miles on a good day. Transmit is good, but not sure how far as most of the time Im within sight of who I talk to, or dont have a way to know. I like monitoring CB truck traffic on the interstate. Ive found it useful during Jeep trail events. Its well worth the extra $17 to get the bracket to mount the radio above the rear view mirror. Its a simple unit, but quality to price ration is outstanding at $40.

> 3 dayBought this radio to set it up in a work van. Adjusted modulation and while the radio sounds great with the stock mic it would not work with any of the power or echo mics I have. they changed the board in the radio , While a great radio for the price and good to have spare. Not the big talker it used to be.4 Stars you cant beat the price..,.conect a ciggarette adapter to it and keep a spare antenna like a mag mount and slap on any vehicle or a friends car for a road trip.

> 3 dayWe have two of these we are running in our Armada and Jeep.....a very functional and easy to set up CB that has great/clear quality with loud speaker. If you are running an open top jeep you will need an external speaker though. After owning a couple Cobra CBs, this one is the best by far! My Cobra CBs include the Cobra 19 and Cobra 75...the cobra 19 was not very loud and had issues getting a good SWR with it, whereas the Cobra 75 was an all-in-one hand mic unit but wasnt loud enough to hear anything and when talking most everyone stated I was coming in garbled. For the comparable costs, I wouldnt buy a Cobra again and will stick with Uniden!

> 3 dayThese radios are a great value for the money. There is an almost zero learning curve to using them and they work quite well.
