> 3 dayI love the different designs that they offer for these backpacks to let your child be able to express themselves. My son is 4 pretty tall for his age (about 3, 4) so I thought that maybe he could use this backpack but hes still a little too small for it so its accurate that its meant for kids 5 and up. It has a lot of pockets and in a variety of sizes which is great for all the stuff a kid may need to carry. I appreciate that there are straps to hold a lunch or pencil case in the big pocket and also the padding on the back and the straps. The waist band might be a bit much in my opinion, I usually only see these on hiking backpacks and seems a little much for a school type backpack. I tested the water resistance, and it works great but keep in mind that the zippers are not so there is a chase that water can enter the backpack (see photo). I was hoping that the material would be a little softer, there is a stiffness to it so any folds seem to stay for a while. Also I found that there is excess plastic around the main Unni logo (see photos). We used this on the airplane for a trip and it was great for holding all his activities and snacks. Since it was a little big for my son, I was the one wearing it and it felt very comfortable.

> 3 dayIt’s got about fifty pockets all the way around it on the outside and nice vented padding on the back and the hips is comfortable. The zippers work really well and are numerous. It’s actually a lot larger than I expected it to be and the main pocket has an elastic tie down, which is great for hats and such, and there’s padding for a laptop of tablet in the interior back. I’ll see how it holds up over time but I’m optimistic and illlet you know!
