Greater than one weekNice size cage for the money. Fairly sturdy and I like the tension on the slide doors. Prevents my bird from opening them himself which he loves trying to do. Ideal size for smaller birds - I have a conure so he has plenty of space. Top does not open up, but there is a model that offers it. Had trouble finding a cover that met the dimensions of this cage, so it would be nice if they made a coordinating cover. I am not using the floor stand due to my Siberian Husky, but seems sturdy and adds a couple feet to the height. Overall very pleased with the cage. Assembly is a little tricky getting the second level attached, but very manageable with two sets of hands.
