> 24 hourI was looking for a sun and rain shield for out outdoor cameras and found this. Even though our cameras are rated as waterproof and for outdoors I think a shield like this really helps them to weather the elements like rain and direct sunlight which will wear them down after a while. The packaging was very simple, some plastic wrap and a cardboard box, easy to open. These shields are easy to mount and install, it took only a few minutes to climb up and get them anchored in to our outer wall. Do be sure to check your camera if it has antennas to ensure you get proper clearance when panning or tilting the camera. Once we had that set proper these things stayed in well and its helped with some glare we were getting when using the cameras. Very solid protection for you outdoor cameras!

> 24 hourAfter a few rainstorms I decided I needed these to reduce blurry images from rain. These work perfectly. Easy to install and does the job perfectly. I used these with my Ring cameras.

> 24 hourI got these for some Eufy cameras that I have over the garage area of my house and these were perfect to cover them and provide additional protection for the cameras. I was able to install both in about half an hour with templating the perfect position and also predrilling the holes. I also spray painted the cover with a uv resistant paint to match my garage so it would look more blended and not so obtrusive.

> 24 hourThese covers look and feel solid. They not only protect the cameras from snow, rain, and ice, they also help a bit with keeping the sun out of the camera lens

> 24 hourI really like the cover. I was disappointed on one of my cameras how far up it sets because of the WIFI antennas. Looking at the store page it seems it would work for those types, but looking closer it shows what cameras these are for. It does fit one of my WIFI cameras just fine. As long as the camera does not drop down a lot from the bracket you should be able to use these. I think I can probably adjust the antennas more and get them to fit without hurting my WIFI connection. The installation was easy, and the included screws worked great.

> 24 hourThis product is great for protecting outdoor security cameras from the elements. They are very durable and were so simple to install. Just a few screws and you’re good to go. These protect my outdoor cameras from getting wet and also from the sun. These covers do the job and look so nice and neat. A great item to buy with security cams!

> 24 hourThe material is thick, the size is generous for coverage over cameras. Much more substantial than metal ones, definitely more pleasing on the aesthetic side and sturdier than thin metal. Each one of the shades in the set comes with 5 screws and matching plastic anchors, though only 4 screws are needed for mounting to the wall: great to have extras, saves the trip to the hardware store when dropping one or two on installing or for later if needed. Another nice touch is the gasket on the whole wall-adhering surface: can achieve a perfect seal to the wall, no water leaking underneath to the camera wires. And, what I like the most, the black surface has low reflectivity to avoid ghosting or other alterations in the camera images caused by stray light. Overall, these are the best shades Ive ever seen. I am looking to install these on the siding of the house, thus I need to fit in some flat pieces of wood for the basis. Not hard to do, but I had to put the project on hold until warmer weather for gluing and staining. The one possible drawback I foresee is that the screws are the Phillips head kind. I hope they last and never rust, but many such screws that I had in outdoor fixtures did corrode over the long run, and its usually the head that becomes clogged with rust and makes removal hard. Phillips head are far better than slot head ones, still hex heads are the best bet for anything thats likely to corrode. I cannot subtract any star from the rating for this concern, though: its a matter of years for such issues to develop IF they do, and worst that can happen Ill have to replace the screws before it becomes hard to remove them.

> 24 hourThese are much bigger in person than what the site showed. I have multiple cameras that i want to shade and protect from the elements and this is so perfect. The back part that gets attached to wall has a built in soft gasket to seal the shade on the wall. The outside is white and the inside is black so light does not bounce around and make “noise” for your camera. It is thick quality plastic, not a thin brittle hood.
