> 24 hourI have a triple fluted flush cut 1/4 inch router bit that I usually use in my construction business. I have never used a spiraled flush cut bit, so I thought it might be fun to try out. I used this spiraled flush cut bit it my trim router at first and the bit had no problems cutting 3/4 pine trim boards. However, I did notice that the cut was a little wavy because the trim router has a small base plate so I tried it in my full sized router with a 5ish plate. The cut came out much straighter and I would recommend using a bigger base plate for it unless it doesnt matter if there are a few waves in the cut. It cut through 5/8ths OSB plywood and didnt leave any burrs on the surface. There were some on the bottom of the plywood but I assume that is from the spiral moving downward. I like the fact that the bit is only 1/4 in diameter the whole length and that it doesnt have to take out as much material as my 1/4 fluted bit that is 1/2 at the cutting blades. So far... I really like this bit and am hoping that it stays sharp for a long time so I can use it for many years.

> 24 hourThis up down compression spiral flush trim router bit is a great finish bit. Its small size makes it much easier to maneuver in tight places or for intricate work. I am a little new at getting the right bit for what I want to do, but this seems to be a sharp bit for smooth cuts with almost no tear out. This makes this a great bit for me.

> 24 hourCombination up-down compression spiral trim bits are wonderful for using on material that is laminated top and bottom. It is always best to cut from the laminated surface towards the substrate in order to avoid chipping the laminate. This bit cuts the two services towards the center which is ideal when you want to avoid chipping both sides of your material. I use this for trimming melamine shelves or plywood that has a nice hardwood veneer on both sides. The bit is nicely made and well packaged. I would recommend it not just for CNC but for any edge trimming with a router.

> 24 hourAs it is an off brand from Amazon, I dont have high hopes for longevity. That being said, for a hobbyist the price is right and it works great so far. Only time will tell on durability.

> 24 hourThis ball bearing router bit came very sharp and did a great job cutting veneer with minimal chipping or tear out. The ball bearing allows you to precisely follow a template or guide to make perfect, repeatable trims/cuts. My only observation is that for the price, this single bit was a little expensive. Overall though, it performs as advertised and did the job for me.

> 24 hourI used this bit for the first time to clean up the edges of a CNC carving. I purposely cut too shallow with the CNC into a piece of walnut, then cut the carving out with a jab saw. This to me provided the worst possible scenario I could come up with regarding the wood. Hard wood with jagged overhangs that have been stressed already, and a curved edge. As for the router, I used a cordless handheld DeWalt 1/4 in router. Its large in the hand so kinda hard to hold and it is easier to accidentally tilt than a larger router. Then I flushed the corners holding the router in one hand and the carving in the other. This was the worst possible scenario I was willing to tolerate. I got the best results I have ever gotten from any flush trim bit - with the worst conditions I could come up with. There was zero tearout, and perfect alignment. Look at the pictures, they speak for themselves. I hate to write gushing reviews, but this is a standout tool that radically outperforms every other version of the tool I have ever used. Cant recommend this bit highly enough.

> 24 hourThis is my first experience with an up down compression spiral flush bit. It did not disappoint. So far, I’ve only used it in testing and one small project, but the results have been very encouraging. Plywood trims were clean with no significant chipping. Softwoods like fir and cedar trimmed clean and smooth. I used it with my trim router and, as another reviewer has stated, a larger base would be helpful. I did get a few waves but that was entirely due to my too-casual technique at the time. Key unresolved issue is longevity of the product. So far I’ve seen no red flags in that regard and expect this bit to serve my purposes for many years to come. If that should change, I will update my review.

> 24 hourIt cut 3/4” plywood like it was butter. Make sure the guide board is secure and long enough and dont try to handle it without one. If the wood is hard, the router will pull away from you and slice quickly into places you dont want to cut. I made that mistake trying to finish the last inch to the corner of the work table I was trying to give a straighter edge. Instead it pulled itself out of my control just long enough to make a deep gouge before I could pull it away. I just didnt expect it to cut so well. But the reason I tried it first on that was because I didnt really care much about damage, since its just a work surface that will get beat up anyway, so no big deal and it kept me from making that mistake on the shelves I was making. Not sure about how long it will last, but at least new its pretty good for the price.

> 24 hourThis is well made, every bit as good as the more expensive Freud and Rockler bits I own. It comes in its own plastic case that closely matches the size of the bit for easy storage. It may seem trivial, but I store my bits in their original packaging, and the cases on Freud bits huge, so much bigger than the bit they hold, this case is perfect for how I like to store my bits. I haven’t used it enough to speak on its long term durability yet, but there are no red flags yet as far as the cut quality or craftsmanship is concerned. Recommended.

> 24 hourThis is the first spiral bit Ive used, and I gotta say Im a convert. It just chews through material, and produces a nice clean edge. Im very pleased with this.
