The Gocheer Dehumidifier works great for reducing the humidity in small rooms, however like most small dehumidifiers, it doesnt have an air intake filter so if its used in areas where you generate a lot of plastic dust (laundry rooms and bathrooms), the heat exchanger will clog and overheat. Use the dehumidifier with an air filter if you want it to last longer than a year or 2. Gocheer has excellent customer service though and will replace any units that do fail. Gocheer, please consider making a version that has an air intake filter to protect the heat exchanger from gunking up and failing when used in areas such has bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Here in central Texas summers are hot and humid, our travel trailer is under a port and we run a dehumidifier only during those hot months as well as keeping the AC on 79 degrees. This dehumidifier was rated very good however it only produces less than a cup of water after 2-3 days of running. Our previous one had to be emptied twice a day or I would sit it on the countertop and lay the drain hose into the sink. With all the good ratings I think we may have received a defective unit but what do ya do? By the time you figure this out the return time has passed.

We bought this dehumidifier for our bathroom. We live in a humid city and we have a small master bathroom that doesn’t have the best ventilation. In the fall and spring when our AC isn’t running as much, it can get so humid that mold and mildew easily form on the ceiling of the bathroom and our towels take forever to dry. And we do have a fan on the ceiling we run when the shower is on. Since purchasing this dehumidifier 2 months ago, we haven’t had any new mold growth and our towels dry much faster. I also don’t smell the mildewy smell I used to. It’s so nice to have and very easy to use. There is a light on it but we just face the light it to the wall so the light isn’t too bright at night (we like to leave the door to our bathroom open to help with airflow). If anything, I kinda like the dim light it gives off at that point as a little night light if I get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night. The water container is very easy to take out and empty. We even use some of it to water nearby plants too. Highly recommend this small dehumidifier!

We purchased the Gocheer Upgraded Dehumidifier for our son and his new apartment with adjoining Closet & Bathroom areas... He says the unit works great in keeping down the moisture from the bathroom into his closet area. The unit runs well and quiet and seems to reduce humidity quite well. Would recommend this unit for others who need to dehumidify a small room space area....

Love the changing light colors, the easy emptying, and the auto off if it gets full. Its so quiet, and easy to forget its there.

I bought this for my RV to help keep the humidity low. It takes up very little space and runs super quiet. It lights up and even has an extra quiet night mode. Plus, It is easy to empty! I love this product and would recommend.

We had to purchase this dehumidifier for our basement that had a small water leak. This is like the little humidifier that could! It was pulling water out of our carpet very quietly and very efficiently. We priced out other dehumidifiers that were twice the cost, but this is handling our 1,000 sq ft basement with ease. Very quiet and a great value for the price. I would highly recommend it!

This thing has been a game changer for my significant other and I. We were recently cleaning our bedroom when we noticed that we had a little bit of green mold on our wooden appliances due to the moisture in the air. We live in a newly built 2 story apartment complex that is within a new Airplane Hangar - thus we dont have the greatest airflow. We have two large windows but its not enough airflow to release the built up condensation in the apartment (especially during the warmer weather when our AC Units are on). This thing PUMPS out fresh air and the best part about it is you can see how much moisture it is pulling out of the air. A huge bonus to how quiet this machine is as well as its sitting on our night stand.
