Love this sweeper and it was time to order a replacement part, it was very easy. It was exact fit and now back in operation.

My old Shark vac hose finally came apart after years of use and stretched to its limits. I love this replacement handle and hose. Very nice quality handle, and the hose seems to be made well. Time will tell. It does stretch farther than the old one. Also good value for the money.

The hose on my vacuum was hosed, so I thought maybe it was time to switch to a cordless model. While the cordless model is fine, I wasnt ready to part with my SHARK lift-away and its amazing cleaing power, so I tucked it away in a closet. On a lark, I looked around Amazon to see if there was a cost-effect solution to the broken hose, and this one worked perfectly. Super easy to install and it was at an excellent price.

had multiple tears and holes in my existing hose had terrible suction, was about to fork over alot of money for a new one, but instead I just bought the replacement part. Now my vacuum feels brand new and the suction feels like when I bought the dang thing easily extended the life of my vacuum and made me start thinking of other simple fixes ive ignored........ (also installation was stupid easy use 2 fingers to pinch the old one out, new one snaps in with 2 little guided pieces on the side and youre done)

The original handle easily clicked into place. This one does not click unless you push the handle in somewhat hard, but you can fix it! Basically you can take apart the original handle (the purple part with the red locking tab) and reassemble it with the new hose from this product. It takes about 20 minutes - about 2 out of 5 on the difficulty scale. Then you get a brand new hose with the OEM handle, so it clicks into place perfectly. To do this, it looks like you need a special screw driver, but a large flat head jewelers screw driver will remove the screws. You have to pry off the gray cover for the red tab. Then everything slides apart. Theres some wire dangling inside (maybe to ground the tube) but it reassembles and works fine without it. This would definitely be a 5 star product if they would have measured the locking mechanism a little better so you get a good click. As is, Im worried that someone will reinsert the handle and try to pick up the vacuum and it will slide out.
