This set is very pretty, so I am keeping it. I will use it on local trips, but not on trains, planes, cruise ships, etc. I do not trust the durability. It is exactly as pictured. Love the vinyl cover that came with it. It rolls very well.

I purchased this set for my daughter, and we’ve been on a couple of trips with her using it (though not on a plane). The luggage has held up as well as any luggage I’ve owned. It comes with a plastic sheath that closes with Velcro to keep it from getting scuffed during travel, which we didn’t use in the car, but I would advise using it on a plane. In one of the questions I read, someone asked if the small case came with a strap to connect it on top of the large case. The answer I read was no, so they may have changed it since then because it does indeed come with a small strap to go around the handle of the large case, so you can roll it without having to hold both. My daughter absolutely loves this luggage! It was a little expensive, but the attention to detail and quality are worth it!

Beautiful!! Looks better than the picture.. I thought I would have to give this to a child or teen but It doesn’t look too child like as I initially thought it would.. It looks very elegant and vintage.. I love it.. I haven’t used it yet but it’s lightweight yet seems to be sturdy and durable.. I ordered the embossed Rose White, which looks more so like a very light pinkish champagne color outlined in a clean off white and rose gold..

This luggage is beautiful and arrived packaged incredibly well. As soon as I started packing for my trip, though, I realized what a horrible design it is. The suitcase doesn’t completely open and lay flat. Instead, it opens at a 90° angle, making it difficult to pack one side. There are lots of straps to tie things down on one side, but not the other. There are also support straps connecting the two halves of the trunk which always get stuck outside of the suitcase when you close it. It’s difficult to explain, but very frustrating nonetheless. I purchased clear PVC suitcase covers because I wanted to protect the delicate looking luggage. After one trip, even with the fully encompassing luggage covers, there were tears to the finish and the decorative metal details are coming off. I regret my purchase and recommend you not make the same mistake.

I waited a couple years to write this review. Many trips later I have to say this little luggage set has held its own. All while being a beautiful head turner. I wouldn’t ever check it in though, especially not this ivory-colored set. Only as a carry on. It has a couple dark scuff marks but overall just as pretty as the day I got it. I am in love! I don’t travel with the smaller suitcase, I use that to store my bullets at home. Love that they have combination locks. Everybody asks me where did I get it from.

I LOVE the way the suitcase looks and I received many compliments. BUT when I arrived in my hotel after my flight, I noticed that something was off. It was that the airline stacks luggage on top of each other (ok no problem) BUT this is so soft and the locks popped bc they could not sustain the weight on top.

I finally convinced myself to splurge for this more expensive luggage set because is so cute, but I was super disappointed when, the first time I used it, the top handle broke when I picked it up to put in the overhead storage compartment of the plane. One of the pieces that holds the handle in place just popped right off & flew somewhere in the airplane seats & I couldn’t find it, had to use a suitcase with a broken handle for the rest of my trip. Got lots of compliments on how cute it is, but was embarrassed when the handle just broke like that on a crowded plane. Disappointed. Returned it since I had only had it for a few days. Bummed.

I absolutely love this luggage set. It’s perfect for a getaway weekend. Would not trust the airline with it but definitely take it as a carry on. It comes with a clear cover for it so it doesn’t get damaged. Recommend it to my sisters and they also bought a set.

Bought it for my Ravenclaw girl, she loves the look. Not by any means a hard side suitcase, it appears to be a thin aluminum frame with a PU cover. I dont think it would survive airport travel. This would not fit in an overhead compartment either, it would need to be checked--keep it in mind when purchasing. My 11 year old loves it anyhow
