> 24 hourI bought this device because it had what appeared to be a USB-C port. The USB-C port is apparently just to provide additional power to the Ethernet circuits in the device. A USB device plugged into the port will not work, and a Macbooks USB-C power adapter will not supply power to your macbook through this USB port. A complete waste of $20 and not even worth my time to return it for a refund.

> 24 hourThis did not work with my Razer Blade Advance laptop, I plug it in and it works for a few minutes and then shuts off, I tried both ports on both sides and same result. Its easy to install and easy to use obviously but I just get a flashing red light and it clicks off and switches back to wifi. I have a Pluggable brand laptop dock with ethernet that works superb using the USB C port but I wanted this one to travel. Rip

> 24 hourI plugged it directly into one of my Mac Studio Ultras Thunderbolt/USB3 ports running OSX/MacOS Monterey, and it configured itself as DHCP immediately, ready for use. In System Preferences, I changed it to manual configuration with a specific IP so it would operate on its own subnet, and that also worked just fine. No installation of drivers, etc., were required. It just worked immediately once plugged in. Im using it to provide a dedicated Ethernet connection to a network SDR (Software Defined Radio device); the data in rate is 18.4 Mb/s, or about 1.8 MB/s. No glitches, no loss of data, just seems to run well. The little red flashing LED indicating data is being handled is a nice touch. I also really like that its just dimly visible though the case - I dont need yet another bright LED flashing at me, but its still nice to be able to easily see its active. Note: I have not tested the USB charging port; I have no need for it.

> 24 hourThe USB C to Ethernet Adapter, Ethernet Adapter with Charging (PD15W) doesnt perform its core function - providing a data connection via ethernet to USB-C while simultaneously charging the device. If not charging, the data connection works fine, if not trying to pass data the charging function works fine. But with the charging cable attached, the device will not allow a data connection. The data connection will drop (device will stop recognizing the data option) as soon as the charging cable is plugged in. Remove the charging cable and the data connection will return. Was worth a shot, since its half the price (about $15 vs $30) of similar devices, but have to return. Otherwise, build quality was great.

> 24 hourThis device si working well to give me an Rj45 etherner connection from my Samsung Galaxy S20. Just go into connections, teathering, plug in the adapter, and choose Ethernet Teathering. Allows me to connect my phone to the computers network port, or as the service provider for my router.

> 24 hourThis product shows that you can charge your phone while it is connected to the Ethernet port, but you cant. The internet cuts off every time that you try to plug the charger cable into it. If you are trying to tether your phones internet through your computers Ethernet port, to use your phones internet service on your computer, then you will have to try a different route. Your phones battery will eventually go dead without being able to plug the charger cable into it.
