2 months into using it one of the USB ports stopped working.

I liked all previous Anker products and so purchased this USB charger. It charged our phones faster as expected with 2A output. But after 6 months of use, one stopped working. There is no noticeable sign (black mark or dent) of damage externally. The other one still works, but one of the prongs might break soon. In general, I found the build quality on these chargers is not at same level as with other Anker products.

Charges phone fast

If this were a pocketknife, I would be missing some fingers. The plug blades dont really lock into place and often collapse while you try to plug it in. This is frustrating. If cost a penny more, I would fuss. The price is great just watch for folding parts.

It works

Powerful charger for it’s size and easy to carry

Very happy with this. Having two ports is so nice. Also it’s not made cheaply and feels like it can hold up against time. Doesn’t make that high pitched sound that cheap ones would.

Weak performance. One failed in three months, the other one died after 9 months of barely using it. The transformer they use just burns out while in use. Save your money and buy something sturdier.

Phones these days are used for much more than just phone calls. I use mine all of the time. So charging is a must. These foldable chargers are great. They are kind of still bulky, but having the folding plugs is great. I carry one in my day pack, one in my travel pack, and keep a couple around the house to charge while Im working on something else. Ive been happy, no problems yet!

I was looking for a small footprint, with higher charging amperage.
