Im an endurance race bicyclist who goes on trips that span days, weeks and sometimes two months. I have multiple devices that require USB charging and this allows me to go into a restaurant or hostel and only use one electrical outlet to charge my many devices.

Things Ive bought on Amazon have always been amazing until I ordered this multiport USB charging station. On arrival, I unboxed it, connected the power cord, and plugged in several devices like a Kindle tablet, Wifes cell phone, and a wireless earbud for her cell phone. The next morning the charge on all the devices was lower than when I plugged them into the charging station. I noticed that the power cord wasnt completely seated into its socket on the charging station. I tried pushing it in further and suddenly an LED lit up. Thinking that was the problem the LED then went out. I played that game 10 or 12 times to no avail. This product was never tested at the factory. I have worked in consumer electronics for almost 40 years. My last three jobs were as VP of engineering and quality and I can tell that internally either the power connector was faulty at the time of manufacturer or a solder joint was poorly made. Ill never buy another item from this vendor or manufacturer again. This was not Amazons fault, it was the vendor/manufacturer. This would have been caught if the vendor did out of box audits which, clearly nothing of the sort is being performed by them.
