I bought for a project to finish up that I was engraving, I have a 60 w co2 laser. The plexiglass was clear but does not engrave well, it leaves a lot of buildup on the nose cone. When cutting you cannot get a finished edge it come out cloudy no matter what power or speed you set.

I have not had to chance to test them out as I plan on sublimating on them, but they are cast acrylic so they should work for what I plan on using them for. They came with paper on both sides to protect it from scratches and the acrylic is strong and sturdy. Ill check back once I test the sublimation.

These boards are great for photography. They are a lot more durable than some of the others I have gotten and more scratch resistant. Black shows scratches very easily in photos and when cleaning, even a small bit of dust can cause scratches in many materials. I have been pleased to see these are fairly resistant to scratching, and you can keep the paper on one side and use the other, then when it gets too worn to use, you just remove the paper on the other side and start fresh. They are highly reflective which took some education to learn to use correctly but are well worth it.

These came nicely bubble wrapped and with the normal protective paper on either side. The sheets inside are unscratched and the perfect thickness for the project Im using them for.

Clear cast acrylic is really fun to work with using a laser etcher/cutter like my Glowforge. Ive attached a picture of some trophies I did recently using clear acrylic and multi-color LED bases to do edge-lit displays. This clear acrylic arrived well packaged: it was fully encased in an envelope of bubble wrap. The sheets have paper covering on both sides which is essential for laser work. The paper is good quality and provides 100% coverage on both sides. I peeled back the paper on one side enough to determine that the acrylic faces are clear and uniform, the sheet is transparent and I see no imperfections. The material is cast, which is also essential for good laser work. These sheets meet all of my expectations for quality lasering material. Normally I test the items I receive before posting a review, which in this case would include putting one of these sheets into my Glowforge and etching/cutting something. Ive decided not to do that here because I dont want to waste the material. My evaluation is based on my experience with other acrylic sheets and my ability to now inspect them for quality without cutting into them. Knowing what I do about these, I would not hesitate to buy them. Im ready for my next project and from everything I can see about these sheets, Ill be getting great results out of my etching and cutting projects.

I intend to use these as table edge guards to keep small hands away from hot foods at a potluck style party. Other options for safety were just too expensive. But these are a nice price and I like the length. Cutting them in half to create a low barrier was my plan, as they can be spaced out and clamped to the table under the table skirt, and half the height is perfect for my needs. The look is really nice, since these come with a protective sticker to keep them from getting scratched. Theyre nice and stiff, which is what I wanted. Cutting was a breeze. We scored a sheet right down the middle and then cracked it in half. If you cant do this at home, any hardware store should be willing to do it for you. Cutting out shapes is easy too. We cut off a few inches and did a simple circle. It popped right out. Well lightly sand the edges, just because my husband is a perfectionist. These sheets would easily make keychains. Theyd also be great as protective shelf barriers for collectibles. Theyd also be useful for babyproofing shelves that are just low enough for little hands to grab at. The uses are endless and the price is great.

Going to be making some picture frames and thought Id give this plexi a try. It is well made and crystal clear. Paper for protection on both side, which is actually pretty easy to remove. Comes packed well. Nice and thick. Good acrylic, fair price, would recommend.

On inspection, had straight edges and film on both sides. I cut and engrave with my K40 with no issue.
