These are perfectly suited for what I was looking for. I had initially ordered the harder plastic ones on Amazon, with the pull tabs on them. I wasnt very happy with those, and had to modify them to actually fit in one of my switches. I had not ordered these as I was hesitant as to how difficult they would be to remove. Once I ordered them, I realized how wrong I was. These are incredibly simple to remove from the port. Im keeping the other ones I ordered to use in a pinch. These will be my go-to port covers.

These represent an excellent solution for a very small problem. The rubber dust covers fit snugly into ethernet ports and Im quite comfortable they serve their purpose well (in this case protecting a switch installed into my garage workshop serving networked devices and some ethernet jacks connected through my attic). A tab allows for easy removal.

I needed a way to block staff at the office from plugging into disconnected ports. These did the trick - no more complaints!

They do what you would expect. I mounted my router on the way which now means the network jacks are point up allowing dust to settle in them, and possibly inside the router. Plugged up the jacks not in use. Also makes it look a little cleaner than seeing open network jacks. Not sure if they really help in keeping the inside of the router dust free, but they do look nice.

Dropped these into a some of my clients floor jacks to keep them clean of debris and they worked like a champ. Only consideration is that they dont have any sort of nib to pull them out. Perhaps that was intentional. Worked great, would buy again, would recommend these to others..

This are really great to put in RJ-45 ports to keep dust out. They are soft, easy to install, and remove. Have a device you just want to make sure you dont use the wrong port on? These are good for that too.
