Going by the Alton Brown kitchen method of no extra gadgets for my sewing/quilting area, I was hesitant to buy the V Block and its sister rulers. After using this and its sister rulers, Ive given many of my other rulers away. This multi-functional ruler is wonderfully easy to use and accurate for V-Block blocks. A bit hard to understand where to place on fabric but very accurate.

At first it was a little difficult to understand how to use the tool especially when it came to trimming. However, after reading the directions a few more times and practicing , it worked very well. After sewing and trimming, my blocks are perfect!
