> 3 dayI needed something to put dry cat food in to keep ants out. This works great! It closes solidly and fits nicely in my cabinet. At the time I was using a cat food that came in 5 pound bags, so it worked great for that. I may have to upgrade now since my babies are on a different food that doesnt come in 5 pound bags anymore. :( But the product is great!

> 3 dayThe cat food I buy is a very small kibble (Fromm). The whole bag fits in this container. It is easier to scoop food out of this than opening and closing the bag each day. I feel this keeps the food fresher too.

Greater than one weekI bought two of these...one for home and one for our RV. They are perfect. I had bought an 11.5 lb bag of Rachel Rays Dish dog food for my 2 morkies. All of the bag fit except I had some extra for a one gallon zip bag..which was fine with me because that is what I had been using before. Glad I purchased these 2 containers.
