Greater than one weekI had previously purchased a similar product of a different brand. When I looked up how to change the batteries it got me thinking that a rechargeable alarm would be better to not have to deal with the hassle. The fact that this model has a low battery indicator is what sold me on it. I personally think the volume is sufficient, though some have mentioned its too quiet. I like the fact there is a speaker on both sides so if the unit was dropped it wouldnt muffle the sound as much as it would with only a single speaker.
