High quality leather; however the canvas is not as robust sturdy as I would have preferred, a bit saggy but shapes-up when filled with a lap-top and note book. Time will tell if it holds up to the daily work-life of a contractor, I currently dont see a reason why it wont - I have actually purchase additional ones/styles for my team members.
