This is a good alternative to the plastic or nylon coated floss you get from the store. It works as good if not better, and it is much less harmful to the environment.

I first started using this floss because I was looking for a good, vegan floss that did not have wasteful packaging. It fit the bill and I ordered several times, until my last refill. I tried another brand that *seemed* like it was the same thing - but it was definitely not the same quality. The other brand broke often and I had to use tweezers to pry out the broken thread from the middle of the little skein. I never once have had to do that with this brand. I will be sticking with ME Mother Earth floss from here on out.

This is the best floss I’ve ever used. I have close teeth that shred any floss but not this stuff. And it’s a sustainable choice. Love it.

Excellent quality floss does not break like silk floss. Love the paper packaging and reusable glass/metal container!

Cleans in between teeth very well. The dark color helps you see the stuff between your teeth. The only negative is if you are not careful it will tear or shred.

I ordered this product thinking I was getting a greener product than I had been using with less plastic. But it arrived in a big plastic envelope! Whats the point?

Love that I dont have to use any plastic with this. Ive refilled this floss multiple times, so the 3-pack is very economical. I love that it comes in plastic-free packaging, too. I took it to my dentists office, and my hygenist said that she thought it did a great job - that it had a very nice grip to it to really get stuff out of my gums. I use it very regularly, and I only have one complaint... If you really have tight teeth, like I do in spots, it can sometimes break. I learned that I can just make sure to move to different spots on the floss (move up and down the floss itself, so that Im not using the same part for too long), and I dont have this problem anymore. Highly recommend!

I have serious gum issues and have to floss diligently. A few months ago I switched to this product from regular dental floss, the kind that is probably Teflon-coated. This biodegradable floss works just as well for me. Im thrilled not to have toxic substances in my mouth, and I no longer have to worry about adding plastic dispensers and other hard-to-degrade products to the environment. The reusable glass container also works fine, is attractive, and takes up very little room in my medicine cabinet. Since the charcoal floss has no flavor that I can discern, I gave it 4 stars for flavor, but this is not a criticism. I really wanted to answer non-applicable.

I like the environmentally friendly aspects of this. I was a little hesitant to try it initially because of the charcoal color, but none of that comes off with flossing. Wish it wasnt made in China.
