Vera Bradley Luggage Tag

This is a pretty luggage tag by Vera Bradley. It is plastic coated cotton and comes in a variety of prints. The name Vera Bradley is printed in small letters on the bottom of the tag face. Inside the plastic viewer is a thin piece of cardstock that says Vera Bradley. You flip this over and there is the word Name and a few lines to write your name. The tag appears to be well made, with even stitching. I like the bright color selection as this will help make it easy to pick out my bag from other luggage.The price point for what it is seems high but is comparable to other luggage tags. If you want to add a bit of pop to your luggage with a name tag, you will likely enjoy this piece.

Very cute but they only give one card so if you mess it up you will have to make one. The tag wasnt as flexible as it could be. The colors were bright but meh...

Although the product description says that this luggage tag is made of recycled cotton, that cotton is plasticized so that it wont rip or get soiled. The laminated surface can be wiped clean with a damp cloth or even soap and water. It also gives the luggage tag extra strength to keep it from being ripped off by baggage handling. The bright, floral pattern makes it easy for me to spot my suitcase on the carousel. I have two minor quibbles One, the strap is too long, and the tag extends farther than Id like. Second, the Vera Bradley tag inside the luggage tab gets in the way of inserting the ID card. That interior label should have been printed or attached elsewhere since its position makes it impossible to cut off. This luggage tag adds a distinctive look to my bag so that I can pick it out at a distance, and it seems sturdy enough to last through the worst baggage handling. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

This luggage tag is very sturdy. Its the recycled cotton, but laminated. Its slightly stiff, but I found it not too troublesome to attach to my bag. The only thing I didnt like was that theres a tag/label inside the vinyl window. I found it tricky to slide the info card in without getting caught on that label. And when I did finally get it inside, it was creased and bent. Other than that, I am pleased with this.

I purchased three of these from Vera Bradley website. I can verify that some patterns have the Vera Bradley name embossed on the metal grommet, and some do not. For instance, Bohemian Blossoms luggage tag does not have the Vera Bradley name on it, and I purchased it directly from their website. The Paisley Keiv pattern ones I own have the embossing which I also purchased from them. So, its hit or miss. So, its a manufacturing defect or simply completely overlooked by the manufacturer. And all of these luggage tags are made of a vinyl coated material and not cotton. Which I like actually. They look great hanging off the Vera Tote and any of the their luggage pieces. They dont always need to match. Some colors look fine with a different pattern. I came to Amazon looking for one thats no longer available on the VB site. Hope this helps put some future buyers at rest. Its a good buy. Ive written numerous reviews over the years so this review is legit too.

Wish it came with a card to write your information on to place inside the plastic. Had to make my own.

Matches my luggage

This luggage tag is a great idea but poorly executed. The problem is that the paper insert for the tag is hard to get back in once you take it out. The inside of the clear area has tags that it will be impossible for me to cut out, but they prevent me from putting the paper back in all the way. Now its all bent up and damaged even though its brand new. Since there are no extra inserts included, I will have to devise my own paper insert and try to bypass those tags somehow. The area by the tag itself appears to be coated in a waterproof material for longevity, which is good. Thats the only pro I can see aside from the print. Would not recommend.
