I like this Vera Bradley Womens Performance Twill Weekender Travel Bag for its classic looks and updated style. It’s covered in quilted, black, waterproof fabric. Comfortable handles, an adjustable strap and a strap that fits over a suitcase handle give this bag carrying options for just about any mode of transportation. Multiple pockets, two with heavy duty zippers, are convenient for accessing trip related items without having to open and dig in the bag. Everything needed for an overnighter can fit inside the generously sized bag (12. 5 inches high, 18. 5 inches Wide, and 6. 5 inches deep). There are also divided areas inside made of net that stretch to accommodate different sized items. It’s legal as a carryon and can be packed full. It’s a big, tough, heavyweight, but classy looking bag that doesn’t look ostentatious or outdated. Highly recommended for travelers with style.

Good: -I like the size of the bag and it is roomy. -Easy to pack and unpack. -Plenty of pockets. -Zippers work well. -Easy to carry with a strap or a handle. -This bag looks very well made. -It’s lightweight and comfortable to hold. -Water resistant. Bad: -The bottom of the bag is cloth. I love this bag because it’s lightweight, spacious, durable and stylish. The interior has a beautiful pattern that complements the solid black exterior. I ordered the matching backpack and together it’s my perfect get away set. I am very impressed and ready to go in style.

Great quality material. Love the park stripe print. It is really beautiful yet simple. Used for traveling to the beach for the weekend.

This is wonderful bag for traveling overnight or work. Im going to use it for work. I love the performance twill fabric and durability. The strawberry ice is a beautiful look! The Reactive fabrication was more stiff as where the Performance Twill was more relaxed. The shipping was quick!

Its gorgeous (I got Cabbage Rose) and well constructed as far as I can tell. It seems perfect for my needs as a terminally ill person who is frequently in and out of the hospital for extended periods of time (from a day to a week or more). The crossbody strap eases the load across the body rather than one shoulder (my go to shoulder is messed up from an injury), will not easily be stained thanks to the fabric (wear and tear in hospitals is legit), and it looks large enough to bring a blanket, a couple clothing options, toiletries and boredom busters like my phone, tablet and coloring supplies. I havent used it yet (thank God) but when I do, I will update my review!

From my wife Sarah: I love Vera Bradley and I particularly love the look of their black fabric. I have a matching purse in this same fabric and I love it. Its lightweight and attractive. This Weekender Travel Bag is rather large, so dont look to this item if you are in need of a purse. Its really meant for travel. It also is much heavier than I would have imagined. The design is convenient and easy to use. Its got a slot that would allow you to rest the bag on a handle on the top of a piece of luggage. The pouches and pockets are very convenient. Its got 3 exterior open pouches that you can put things in which youd like to access easily such as your phone, a snack, etc. Its got 2 very large zippered pouches on the exterior that could fit a lot. They would be large enough to fit shoes, a hair curler, etc. The interior has netting that forms pouches along the inside walls of the bag, so you can organize inside the bag. Then theres a lot of room inside the bag. It would be roomy enough to take some clothing, toiletries, etc. So I think this is a really nice bag for travel, though as with all things Vera Bradly, it would be easy to stain and to cause wear and tear on the fabric. The black color does make staining less noticeable though. All in all, Id recommend this bag for travel.

Performance fabric much nicer than the cotton for a travel bag. Really like the newer design, it has a small slip pocket in the front, like for a phone, and the back suitcase handle pocket can be zipped and used as a large slip pocket. The suitcase handle pocket fits easily over a carryon suitcase. Seems to be standard sized. Like the navy floral, it’s dark enough that it shouldn’t show dirt and still has enough design/color that it’s not boring. Zippers are nice and smooth. Overall the bag looks very nice, doesn’t look cheap like some of the VB cotton bags do. That said not sure I would pay more than $100, I was able to get it on sale for just under $80 and I think the price is right there.
