I had another diabetic dog previously and i am still anxious from the time I dropped an insulin vial on the floor late at night and cracked it. It was too late at night to get more so she had to go without insulin until morning. My dog was fine but I felt terrible. So I got this to make sure I dont have to go through that again :)

> 24 hourThe headline says it all. When I start getting air in my needle, I take the cover off to see how much if any Vetsulin I actually still have in te bottle. Also Im not sure why you would need two of them. I never take the new bottle out until the old bottle is empty. I havent found not seeing how much is left a major problem, having two doesnt hurt, so five stars anyway.

Years ago, my dad realized he needed to get a better grip on his insulin vials.
He"d been diabetic for 30 years and the one thing he couldn’t accept was dropping & breaking these fragile, slippery and expensive vials . He"d broken many over the years… rushing to work, traveling, taking them out of the fridge, from shaking hands, or sometimes for no reason at all, just gravity.
He set out to find a way to make his vials easier to hold and prevent them from shattering when accidentally dropped. He knew he couldn’t be the only one this was happening to and got to work inventing a protective case with the hope he could help other diabetics as well.
It"s been my life’s honor carrying on my father’s legacy by continuing to share his invention (and labor of love) with the diabetic community and make daily life with diabetes just a little easier.
