Victoria Beckham

No Victoria Beckham did NOT have the worst voice of the Spice Girls. That dubious honour goes to one Ms Halliwell. VBs voice however is more style than substance...but as we all know...this girl has STYLE! This album was cruelly overlooked and underappreciated by the UK. A good pop/r&b-light album to shake your ass too. One criticism is that there are too many ballads and the r&b bit is rather tired. If Victoria sticks to POP/dance shell do fine. Check out her new single LET YOUR HEAD GO. Wicked!

Why a Spice Girls would put out an R&B influenced album, but it does work and it sounds absolutely wonderful, the album are wonderfuly produced and Victoria Beckham comes off a totally new artist separate of her Posh Spice persona. My Favorite track is Midnight Fantasy, Not Such An Innocent Girl, Watcha Talkin About (I also loved the version with Missy Elliot) Girlfriend, and Mind of its Own. It truely makes me wonder what could have been of Mrs. Beckhams music career if her second album had been released.

Living in the UK myself, one can get tired of seeing Victoria in the media for every other reason than that of her music. However Id like to take this opportunity to let America know how good this album actually is.

I was really excited to find my favorite spice girl released a solo album. I quickly got the album and it was a lot of work to experience. I listened through all the songs resisting the fastforward button hoping to find something I liked. True their are some really cute songs like: Not Such An Innocent Girl, Midnight Fantasy, and Watcha Talkin Bout. I was hoping she would make an album with more emotion. It sounds like every thing else made in the early and mid 90s.

Victorias first solo cd is remarkable! She is the last of the original 5 Spice Girls to release a solo album. And perhaps, they saved the best for last! Highlights are Girlfriend, I Wish, and Whatchu Talkin Bout. All tracks are awesome and range from dance (Midnight Fantasy) to slow, loving ballads (Every Part Of Me written for Brooklyn Beckham Unconditional Love for husband David Beckham).

Great cd. This album is definately a good buy. My personal favs: Like That, Midnight Fantasy, That Kind Of Girl, and I Wish

Welll Welllll Wellllllllll! After reading all of your reviews, I decided to buy this album. I am very glad I did... I got it last week, and I havent stopped playing the CD yet! The album starts off with a nice hit, entitled Not Such An Innocent Girl, which you would never imagine even a Spice Girl singing... It reminds me of Jennifer Lopezs If You Had My Love... Which are two great songs. My favorite track would have to be Midnight Fantasy... it is a fast-pace sord of romance song. Like Melanie Bs Hot, this is a great CD you should pick up. If you looked at Victoria in the Spice Girls before, and you saw absolutely nothing in this, this will absolutely blow your mind, and have you saying WOW! over and over again. Buy this CD... Its awesome and you will not be dissapointed!!!

Victoria made a fabulous solo cd.

Dont be fooled by her name or the weak first single. Its a good pop-album with steady self-written songs. Her voice is only average but therefore its Miss Vic. Shes really glam

I dont understand why the critics and fans were so hard on Victoria with this album in 2001. Now, in 2022, it sounds not bad at all... It has catchy tunes, nice lyrics, great melodies and even though Victoria is not a great vocalist, she did a good job. Im so into this album that I had to buy it and it was worth it.
