This is a very user friendly program. The instructions are easy to follow and luckily for us we have a CD slot in our desktop. This pairs well with our YouTube music subscription and makes files that are compatible with many other devices that you want to take your playlists with you.

I must admit, I didnt have high expectations for the Video and Audio Downloader Professional 2 software due to issues Id had with others of this type in the past. However, Im happy to report that those problems have gone by the wayside when using this awesome product. In short, it does exactly what it says it does, downloads your favorite YT videos, while allowing you to choose from among the video resolutions offered. This software is absolutely amazing! You can download videos of whatever size you want as long as you have the storage space for them. I chose a test 4K file, and saved it flawlessly. This is the first of its type to actually live up to the claims, therefore I dub the Video and Audio Downloader Professional 2 a 5-star product that I would buy again. Highly recommended!

I installed this and it presents you with a screen to past in a link. It immediately presented all the quality options and download the video. Simple and efficient. It also updated the software right away so that is something.

At first I was a bit disappointed because I saw it came on a CD disk and I dont have any cd drive in my pc, but it also comes with a link to download it from so I was able to get it setup and working and it does the Job well

The license agreement says: the user does not have the right to use the full version of the software but only the right to use a trial version of this software. This means that you have to pay to get the full version. I refuse to play this tricky game and just returned the item.

Despite what the screens say, the software will not download a playlist. Gives an error message every time. Also an upgrade version is shown in the help. But no key to download it is provided. The program screens provide almost no feedback as to what processes are running (if any).

This is amazing! It works very easily and allows you to download any video with audio in up to 8K resolution. Or you can convert to MP3 for just audio as well. When finished, the audio and video stay in sync and it doesnt add any annoying watermark. You just launch the application, queue one or more videos, and download! Then just return when it is done and your videos or audio is ready. I downloaded a 3:06min. video in 4K which came out to 253MB in less than 3 minutes. They give you a website to download the application from, in case you dont have a CD drive. As soon as I installed the application it installed an update supporting 8K resolution. It doesnt use a lot of resources when running and it ran smoothly on my ASUS laptop with 32Gb memory and 1TB SSD. I highly recommend!

Anything downloaded over 1080p or in 1080p HDR would not open up, due to missing codex. It would download yes, but only audio would come through in any of my video players except for Windows 11s video player AFTER installing a codec (through the Microsoft store). Even VLC was not able to tackle this. Thats all and well, however I was NOT able to play any of these codec dependent files on my TV or tablet, which was the original intent. So that effectively limits you to a paltry 1080p resolution, and the quality shows. For mp3s it works great, Im able to pull audio quickly without having to go through sketchy websites. So thats probably the only good, thing you can get out of it. Does not work on any other website Ive tried, I get an unsupported error message when I try to plug something else in. Also unfortunate but not unexpected as it only advertises support for youtube.

I had been going through a many-step process to download some videos using VLC or some type of screen capture software, and then separating out the audio in order to make online song collaborations with other musicians. While other methods need to re-capture the stream, or re-encode while you watch, this program appears to just download the actual file that is stored on the server, and can automatically extract an mp3 with the check of a box, all very quickly without you having to sit through and watch the video in real time. This worked very well on the couple of videos Ive tried so far, I cant say if it would work on some copyrighted material though, I have yet to try that and dont know if some type of protection would interfere. Im also not sure if it would work on other websites, but it was made for YouTube and works like a dream. I love it, thank you very much. Im glad there is just a single lifetime license as well instead of subscription fees, wonderful. :)

So got this as I have found a couple songs that havent been released elsewhere digitally, as well as a couple live shows that I would like to watch at my leisure. This does the trick. I opened the case, found the download url, grabbed the executable, scanned it, ran it, and it upgraded immediately. Upon restart of the app, away I went. I was able to grab the songs and have it rip as MP3 on each of them. Then Ripped the video in the best quality available. Which is incredibly important. If the video is 480p or less, dont expect it to look incredible when you rip it. This is not the fault of this program. Ive tried it with some other videos that I dont intend to keep but wanted to check how well it handled things. It can only do up to 1080p. Which is a bummer but not unexpected. I originally thought there was a problem when I was playing back a trailer. It wasnt a problem with the rip as the actual trailer had the exact same blips / audio issues in the exact same spot meaning it copied the faults that were with the original source. Really seems to handle things well, and although I wont use it a lot. It will be nice to not have to go to a competing site. Pros: - Dont need install CD - Works as well as the website rippers - No malware detected Cons: - Only can rip 1080p or lower content
