I bought this mainly for the size and the 165hz refresh rate, also I read that VA monitors have a deeper black than IPS without the constant backglow, I can confirm this seems to be the case with this VA monitor, as my previous monitor was an IPS. As an added bonus and something that isnt listed in the specs in the OSD there is an HDR option that you can enable, Windows also allows you to toggle the HDR option within the OS when this is enabled, this sets the screen to a very bright setting with no option to change the brightness but in my personal opinion it is much nicer than not enabling HDR and manually configuring it, this was based on general usage and watching HDR videos on YouTube with and without the HDR setting enabled. Its likely only HDR 400 or close to, though I thought it was a nice surprise addition nonetheless. There does appear to be some slight ghosting? As noted by other reviews, and setting the response time to standard seems to be the go to recommendation, though I would advise you try all of the OSD options and configure your graphics card drivers to get the best possible visual settings that work for you. Aside from the above it seems a perfectly good monitor for the price,the stand is fine though nothing to write home about, the OSD is easy to navigate,it has speakers which most wont use though are fine for basic use, office, maybe the odd YouTube video though I wouldnt recommend for gaming or music. All in all for the £145 I paid for the 27 165hz version, its well worth it. 4.5 stars

Light colors are displayed fast at 165hz, however, all darker colors have extreme ghosting even at slowest movements, if you move your mouse cursor across a darker surface it goes yellow or disappears completely and during any kind of gameplay my eyes lose focus and I am unable to see fast moving objects.

Before I ordered my 2nd of this monitor, I loved it. Was cheap, fantastic value for money and was my main monitor. I ordered my 1st way back in April and it has held its own ever since, in fact I loved it so much I thought I would order another one, and as of right now I am using the 1st monitor to write this review. Apon arrival to the 2nd monitor arriving I was very excited, having 2 of the same size monitors, and the same model monitors as my main 2 monitors on my multi-monitor setup. When I opened the box at first everything seemed normal, however when I fixed it on my monitor arm I realised my first issue. It doesnt sit flush on my monitor arm. It sits lower to my other monitor, despite being placed on the EXACT same level and the mount being placed in the EXACT same spot on each monitor. I thought I could let it slide, and Id be fine with it. But when I got all the leads put the box to power it up, I realised I couldnt. Not only does it not sit flush on my monitor arm, they have sent me the wrong power lead, and as I dont have a spare, I now cannot use the 2nd monitor, until I have to spend more money top buy a power lead as this company couldnt even be bothered to check if everything had been placed inside the box. So from what wouldve been a fantastic 5* review had everything worked as it shouldve, is now tainted and I am thus having to leave a 1*. Shocking guys, genuinely shocking. Fix up

Good monitor. Pretty inexpensive considering what you get. Wasnt nearly as as fragile as some of the monitors Ive had in the past (Hello, DELL!). No defects out of the box, no dead pixels, colors are good. Im writing this review one day after installation. If it messes up in the future Ill come back and edit this review. EDIT: I did have a problem with one of the two monitors. The lower left corner got dark, and started flickering. ViewSonic honored their warranty and I now have two great monitors!

This is the second viewsonic that I have ordered and was DOA out of the box. Never again!

Este monitor cuenta con muchos detalles que lo hacen sentir de nivel premium pero cuando profundizas en la manipulación del mismo entiendes el porque del precio. Primero, su panel es VA, esto no quiere decir que sea malo, al contrario tiene un notable contraste superior que otros paneles pero sus debilidades suelen ser muy molestas para algunos usuarios, especialmente los jugadores. Este tipo de panel suele producir lo que le llaman Ghosting y en este monitor no es la excepción. El Ghosting se produce debido a que cuando existe movimiento en la pantalla, la transición de pixeles es muy lenta comparada con otros tipos de paneles y en la practica, la imagen se puede notar ligeramente duplicada y aun mas si configuramos el monitor en altas tasas de refresco. En juegos competitivos (especialmente los FPS), esto suele traer cierta desventaja, ya que la imagen no será del todo clara, y puedes confundir objetivos. Afortunadamente, este monitor incluye ciertas características que si las sabes aprovechar, puedes librarte en cierto nivel del Ghosting, pero a cierto costo, ya que este no te permite activar todas sus características al mismo tiempo, por ejemplo, si activas el modo 1ms, no puedes activar la sincronización vertical incluida en el monitor y viceversa, además de que, al activar este modo (1ms), el brillo máximo baja levemente y si ya te habías acostumbrado a tener mucha claridad, pues puede ser un poco molesto esto de que pierdas brillo. Otro detalle es que, este monitor viene con unos perfiles de colores de acuerdo al uso, al activar el modo 1ms, tampoco podremos acceder a los perfiles de colores. La sincronización vertical es una tecnología que nos permite corregir el llamado Tearing en nuestros monitores, esto es un fenómeno que nos hace ver la imagen partida y con el Freensync incluido lo podemos eliminar. Recomiendo estas configuraciones de acuerdo al tipo de juego - Juegos FPS competitivos: 1ms activado + 144hz . Esta configuración nos permitirá reducir en gran manera el Ghosting ya que el monitor se esforzara por actualizar la imagen lo mas rápido posible y podremos disfrutar de una buena experiencia de juego sin desventajas. Desafortunadamente no podremos activar Freesync con esta configuración y tendremos Tearing. - Juegos de un jugador y chill: Freesync + 144hz + perfil de colores de preferencia : En esta configuración podremos disfrutar los juegos con un paquete de opciones mas amplio a coste de Ghosting, aun así, al ser juegos de un jugador o mas pasivos, no tendremos tantas exigencias a nivel de concentración competitiva, además de que el monitor podrá reproducir mas brillo en esta configuración. En cuanto a los extras, el monitor trae unas bocinas integradas que son muy decentes a nivel de frecuencias mediaalta, los bajos son inexistentes, pero tampoco le exijamos tanto no? Los materiales se sienten muy premium y el diseño de la base es muy refinado, desafortudamante, esta no se puede ajustar la altura, pero si te permite ajustar la inclinación. En conclusión, creo que es un monitor que vale su precio, la calidad de imagen es excelente, y si sabemos aprovechar sus cualidades, no le daremos tanta importancia a sus desventajas.

Probiert den hersteller zu kontaktieren, den man leider telefonisch nicht mehr aus luxemburg ereichen konnte, probiert über ein formular den hersteller zu kontaktieren ging auch nicht, jetzt wurde er an amazon zurück geschickt die mir das geld rückerstatten, finde ich echt schade dass der hersteller so einen schlechten kundendienst hat !
