> 24 hourI’ve got two problems with this projector. The height adjustment is laughably shallow. I have to always set the peojector on books or boxes to get the right height because the adjustment is so small. The lens zoom is also negligable. This projector has a long throw distance. You have to set it pretty far away to get a decent size image, because the lens zoom for making the image larger is a joke. Got it for the 4,000 lumens because so many rooms don’t have a way to dim lights only by the screen, so I’m often using the projector in full light situations. So, brightness is terrific (hence the 4,000 lumens), but c’mon people, the joke of a height adjustment and lens zoom is pretty bad.

> 24 hourI love this projector! While I have a OLED 65 TV it does not have 3D, and it was super expensive. I keep that OLED TV in my living room and most TV and movies I watch there. In my basement though, I have a huge collection of DVDs almost exclusively devoted to Japanese anime. Ive been collecting since the late 1990s and Ive got so many Ive not watched half of them (although some Ive watched a few times as favorites). I have a 48 back projection TV down there and have used that, but it has problems now with some of the colors. This is perfect, I can set it between the two recliner chairs I have down there on a stand and project it on the wall. I bought a big piece (48 X 64) of roll stock white paper from an office supply store, and taped to a slightly larger cardboard, that I cut off a mattress box. To prevent bleed through for the letters on the cardboard, I spray painted it silver and put the white paper over that. It actually works rather well and I have an instant 80 TV. The connections are just perfect for what I need, theres a couple HDMI connectors for a DVD player and a streaming source like ROKU or Fire TV. The speaker is OK, but nothing special, however you can separately source the sound from the DVD player to amplified speakers. This has something none of my other equipment has, an S-Video connection like my 1995 camcorder uses and so I can play my videos on the big screen from that as well. It also has VGA as like a lot of these projectors its frequently used for conference rooms. Today, everyone goes to the conference room with a laptop and either someone plugs in locally, or someone networks in to display on the screen. It has an Ethernet port for that connectivity. Since DLP is so very bright (much improved from a few years ago I might add), it can be used easily in fully bright rooms. Today they may use flat screens, or LED projection, or LCD projection or DLP as the projected type. This uses DLP, and while not as long a light life as LED, it can last up to 15000 hours. To put that in perspective 2080 hours is a working year at 8 hours a day, five days a week. So if you used this 40 hours a week, you might get a bit more than seven years life, so not too bad. While LED is more efficient, and you could probably get a better resolution for the money, it is much dimmer and hard to use in a lighted room. The unit comes with a remote and has easy to use controls on top if you want to do manually, including zoom and focus. Maybe because they are less common than HDMI it included a VGA cable. It has height adjustment on the bottom in case you are not mounting it on the ceiling. Plus the compact size you could easily take this on sales calls and connect your presentation to a laptop. The projection is adjustable enough that you could link it to a huge screen if the room is big enough for a learning or sales presentation. Recommended for home and business.

> 24 hourI like having a remote control for the power and keynote adjustment. The brightness is terrific. I would like to have been able to adjust image perspective from the 4:3 ratio (which I could do with a previously loaned LCD projector from another manufacturer). Looks like a combination of the zoom and moving the table on which the projector sits is the only way to use the whole screen that I have.

> 24 hourI use this at home to project movies on the wall during kids parties and family events, including home movies and it works well for that. In fact, its probably overqualified for the job. But it does it.

> 24 hourGreat color, and a super bright image make this ViewSonic projector perfect for presentations. The controls are simple, and the networking feature adds convemience. The sound quality is really good for a single speaker. It sounds about as loud as a television set.
