Im really enjoying this monitor. It has fantastic picture quality. It has a beautiful facade with a nice and thin borders. The adjustable hight and angle is very useful. However, the built-in speakers are quite terrible. I replaced my external speakers when this monitor arrived, which was a mistake. Now I rely on headsets and my laptops speakers. For comparison, my MBPs built-in speakers are much better.

Amazed at the picture quality & brightness. This Is my first viewsonic monitor, wont be the last. Very easy to setup. Highly adjustable. Extra wide resolution is worth it. Lightweight, but sturdy. Easily better than the generic computer brand monitors. Should have started with viewsonic!

Great monitor. Build quality is superb. Styling great. Picture quality is the best Ive ever seen. The 2K monitor is the way to go. This is the one. Love it. Ive used and owned many monitors. This is the best one yet.

The monitor is used in my 3 screen workstation for CAD and pdf work. It is a good monitor with clean images. It does have this habit of giving me a black screen and no input message about once per week. My other two monitors do not. It requires me to remove power cord and plug back in to clear it. I keep using it because the price was right. This unit is a little over a year old.

Love this display! I have a limited amount of vertical room between my home desk and some built-in bookcases above, and this monitor has great vertical adjustment to fit perfectly. Picture and brightness is excellent.

Other reviewers here have noted all the pros about this monitor, I will just add that 1-) the adjustable stand is especially easy to use and useful for long hours and avoiding neck pain and 2-) reminder that they ship only a display port/USB cable and an HDMI cable with it even though monitor is USB -C enabled. if you are running Mojave 10.14 or later the adapters for display port and HDMI simply will not work, the mac book will never see the monitor. You *must* get a USB-C 3.1 to C cable. Then you can just plug it all in. Also need to add a shout out to Anne at Amazon (complimentary) tech support for helping figure all this out by coordinating with ViewSonic because it wasnt documented anywhere at the point at which I was trying to do it. Overall this really is an outstanding monitor. Not the lowest cost, but not high either. The picture is crystal clear and that is the main thing. The stand is one of the best I have seen. Smaller footprint but sturdy and loaded with features. Also hats off to Viewsonic for the formed paper packaging instead of styrofoam. Very nice environmental touch and you deserve a star just for that. I hope that more companies go this route. There are a couple of issues I will list but mostly these are nitpiks. 1 - The finished side of the base faces the rear of the monitor. The less finished side faces the front. You will see this in any picture. The back facing of the base looks great but it really should be facing the front. 2 - The brightness needs to be turned up especially in a bright room. Not bad but it is a little dimmer naturally, so a higher brightness setting is needed. 3 - No Display Port cord. Personally I would rather it shipped with a DP cord than an HDMI cord, but that is me. It does come with the USB cord and USB - C cord, but that DP cord would have been a better option. I had to buy 2 for the dual monitor setup I use. Again these are really just nitpiks and nothing that would stop this monitor from receiving 5 stars.

This Viewsonic monitor is a terrific addition to any system. Large, bright, sharp, and clear picture. It’s easy to install, and works perfectly with my desktop. It’s also very reasonably priced for a monitor of this size and quality.

Other reviews talk about the picture and the lack of a USB-C cable. They have heard and now include a 10Gb/s 1m long cable which works fine. The built-in speaker sound quality is not as good a the build-in late model MacBook Pro laptop, but is ok. The USB-C cable allows for the monitor to be almost be a docking station. After a month of our family using 2 of these monitors, Ive raised it to 5-stars.

Monitor: Great picture, flexible, full range connections, simple setup. Perfect choice in this monitor class. TECH SUPPORT: 1st monitor received damaged in transit. I called expecting a long replacement delay with hassles. Had a project deadline. Diana S In Tech Support had my replacement monitor delivered within 24 hrs starting a Friday afternoon and delivered on a Sunday. I still cant believe she got that done. No hassle refund process. This is real customer service.
