> 3 dayGreat monitor. Build quality is superb. Styling great. Picture quality is the best Ive ever seen. The 2K monitor is the way to go. This is the one. Love it. Ive used and owned many monitors. This is the best one yet.

> 3 dayIm really enjoying this monitor. It has fantastic picture quality. It has a beautiful facade with a nice and thin borders. The adjustable hight and angle is very useful. However, the built-in speakers are quite terrible. I replaced my external speakers when this monitor arrived, which was a mistake. Now I rely on headsets and my laptops speakers. For comparison, my MBPs built-in speakers are much better.

Greater than one weekMonitor performed well overall. I liked how adjustable the screen was in terms of angles and height. The only issue I had was with the Type -C interface. Regardless of the USB C cable i used (I tried many) or the monitor settings (I reset the monitor multiple times) I would inevitably hear a high pitch whine from the LCD. The whine would go away whenever I used a HDMI cord. Since I bought the monitor specifically because it had a type c interface, the particular display I received didnt work for me.

> 3 dayI dont know about games, but this monitor is perfect for the office. Also, it came with a USB-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt cable to connect to the computer. The cable charges the laptop, and delivers video. The stands height, swivel, and tilt adjustments are amazing. The screen can be adjusted to an inch off the desktop. That is going to help with neck strain a great deal. That is the best designed monitor stand I have ever seen. The built in USBC 3.1 Hub, and the well designed stand make this monitor a great buy.

> 3 dayThis is a great monitor for 2019 macbook pro. Besides the pros that other reviewers mentioned. I like to point out 3 pros It comes with a usb type c cable so no need to buy a separate usb type c cable. It has a strong sturdy base which prevent easy tip over. The power provided by the monitor is able to charge my 2019 macbook pro 15

Greater than one weekI tried this out with two Macs, a 2018 MacBook Pro with USB C connectivity, and a 2015 MacBook Pro. I connected the ViewSonic using a USB-C to DisplayPort cable, using a Thunderbolt 3-USBC cable, and using an HDMI cable. Whichever cable was used, from whichever Mac, resulted in an identical HD picture and an instantaneous transition to two side-by-side windows that could be used from the Mac. The picture itself is larger than that of the MacBooks built-in video but not quite as bright or as crisp. Still, it makes for perfect watching from a distance - Netflix streaming - or for having an extra stretch of desktop for home-based office work. What I have not been able to make work is the audio. For both Macs, for any cable, I was at best able to get it so that low level volume comes through to the ViewSonics speakers but it is not menu-adjustable nor does it respond to the built-in volume control (though the mute setting works properly). This may be a problem on the MacOS side rather than on the ViewSonics side, The sound can easily be switched back to the Mac where it is controllable in the usual manner. There are a number of adjustments to the video that can be made from the ViewSonics built in menu-driven control structure. Input control to get where you need is reasonably intuitive. The angle and height of the monitor on the detachable stand is easily adjusted, and the unit can be used in portrait mode if desired (and thats really where this shines, since that makes review of long pdf files or Word documents a breeze). This is more of an expansion of the MacBook Pros built-in video for those who need more desktop space, rather than as a separate screen for watching movies or other streaming material. From that perspective, connectivity and operating functionality is all excellent. Now if I could get the audio to play nicely with my MBPs, Id be happier with alternative applications.

> 3 dayI purchased this as a second monitor and after a couple months I have had zero issues. Build quality is great, as well as the viewing angles for vertical usage. The trend with many companies is to produce these big monitors with small resolutions. This creates a visually disturbing pixel density that I personally find unpleasant (FHD@32=68.84 PPI vs WQHD@24=122.38 PPI). Its nice to see companies still producing normally-sized monitors with larger resolutions. The stability and mobility is great. Large swivel radius, tilt, and height adjustment for finding that sweet-spot. The handle for movement is a very nice addition. The only thing to be wary of is the fact that this monitor DOES NOT support refresh rates over 60hz at 2k resolution. But for some reason the product description has an eye-catching final bullet point of 75 hertz. (I wanted to take a star off for that shady advertising, but it really is a great monitor)

> 3 dayAmazed at the picture quality & brightness. This Is my first viewsonic monitor, wont be the last. Very easy to setup. Highly adjustable. Extra wide resolution is worth it. Lightweight, but sturdy. Easily better than the generic computer brand monitors. Should have started with viewsonic!

> 3 dayPros: Text is excellent when having to view it all day Adjustments are great Color seems good USB ports on left side are nice extras for charging devices (I havent connected either of these monitors to USB for data) Cons: Really none except the buttons on the front are seemingly unlabeled as viewed from about 2 feet away so you have to memorize which is which in order to change settings such as input (I have 2 computers connected to each) Very happy with the purchases though.

> 3 dayThis is to directly compete with Samsungs SH850. Difference from SH850: - Display Panel: IPS vs PLS - USB-C charge: 65W vs 45W. - DisplayPort daisy chain: No vs Yes - USB2 connection from computer: Yes vs No - Audio: lame speakers vs. Audio Out Jack - Eye care mode: not sure vs. Yes - Price: Same - Size/Resolution: Same Otherwise, other specs are similar. The stand on this looks a bit slicker, with a handle to carry. I picked this because its got better review and slightly newer in release date, and the wrong info in its description that its 75Hz. Its not 75Hz, just 60. Everything is great. I dont care about daisy chaining DP and the extra USB2 connection from computer is very nice. But then I decided to return it and get the SH850. Because for some reason, they decided they need to include speakers, but ones so lame that its very far off even compare to my cheap laptops built-in speakers. Literally I just want it to be loud enough, as loud as my incredibly cheap laptops lamest speakers. I checked and all volume are set to 100%. If they dont want to include speakers that are just loud enough, at least just leave it out and include an audio out jack so I can add my own ones, that I dont need another wire plugging into the computer.
