> 24 hourIn May of 2022 while staying at campground with RV hook-ups we happened to be parked next to someone that noticed our lack of surge protector, who then proceeded to tell us a horror story about previously frying the entire electrical system on his rig.

> 24 hourIt seems pretty standard issue. I like that it has finger hooks in it so youre not putting your hand anywhere near the outlet when you have to unplug it, and it also has an adapter for the more common type of 3 prong outlet, so 3 points for versatility. You dont know how well it works until its saved you a bundle by protecting your system from a real problem, but Im sure the money spent is always worth it. This one costs about the same as others in its ranking. I can find no reason to be disappointed unless it doesnt perform when I need it to, and if it doesnt, this ranking will go to 1 start right quick.

> 24 hourMultiple uses in one connector! Check continuity before plugging RV in to prevent damage to RV from improper wiring. Great piece of mind. Having an all weather cover is also a great idea to protect connector from the elements. Well put together product!

> 24 hourThese types of surge protectors are recommended to not be used twice if a power surge event occurs to it but as far as daily shoreline cord protection for our 30amp rv it is simple to use and easy to read.

> 24 hourI do not have an RV, but what I do have is a splitter that goes from 30A to multiple 15A outlets. We use it when camping and with a generator. Its not really necessary but it allows us to use one central power cable instead of plugging 2-3 extension cords in. This surge protector may not be needed, but its nice to have less worries. It feels solid, didnt heat up when plugged in, and has a decent plastic shield to reduce the chance of the connection getting wet.

> 24 hourThis will help you to avoid electrical wiring problems when you hook up to 30 amp power. It clearly shows some of the most problem areas that could hurt your RV. It has a high joule threshold as a surge protector as well. I seen where those spikes can fry a inverter. Looking forward to using this camping season to help insure proper electrical connection.

> 24 hourNot only does this product prevent you from having issues with a poorly wired power post at a RV campsite by showing you with colored lights, its other features make it a must have. The rain cover and the anti-thief ring are true design pluses making this a great product. Many such products do not have these features.
