I thoguth it was a new, unopened amiibo but it was opened and taped dirty. Also the delivery was delayed.

This Amiibo does function the same as the US packaging version. Its just a Japanese import. So if you dont mind Japanese Packaging for the Amiibo it saves you a ton of money if you planned to get it.

I really liked it.

Villager is my favorite super smash bros. character, and the japanese import of the reprint villager was at MSRP on amazon during the US reprint, so of course I had to grab him. The amiibo itself looks great, and is a lot more visually appealing than the first print that went out. There are a lot of complaints about a large forehead on the figure, but thats up to the luck of the draw, (print?) really. I got lucky with mine and ended up with a normal looking figure. As for functionality, the amiibo is compatible on multiple titles for various unlockables and functions (i.e. training an amiibo fighter on smash bros vs. unlocking a costume on mariokart 8.). I would love to see more game compatibility but as a collectible figure, I am very satisfied with my villager!
