Great for hanging things on siding. sometimes you need to use pliers to bend the hook end a little more so it holds better.

They’re great… until the wind blows. And I mean just the smallest breeze. I used them to hang banners next to my door and they popped out every single time we got a slight breeze. I keep trying and they keep on popping out. I’m over it. They just do not stay

Just got new siding installed and needed a way to hang our camera. Works great. Had a super windy day this past weekend and they passed the test

I love how easy it is to mount and adjust positions of an IR spotlight, but because it is just a tension based hold to your siding, it is a bit floppy. It holds 2-3lbs fine, but it’s not holding anything perfectly steady. I would not trust this for long term outdoor camera mounting because it will likely move in storms or a stiff gust of wind. Seems like it would hold a small sign, outdoor Christmas lights or similar thing pretty well. Lots of possibilities.

Who knew! I wish I knew about these before I drilled holes in my siding...no more!!
