I was able to frame out my home and add some elements like electrical outlets but it crashes consistently when I right-click on an element and click properties. Fortunately I can export and do a lot of stuff in PS

Dont buy this software. It is extremely basic for the price. It has a very limited database for items. For example, there is no double wall oven cabinet to choose from. You have to build walls and then try and insert the double ovens, which doesnt work well. Color rendition is very poor. Creating floor and ceiling surfaces is difficult. 3D viewing does a very poor job of showing this surfaces. I regret buying this software.

The installation code would not work so unable to install on computer. spent a week getting the run around from the support people with no help. Im done with these clowns, am returning for a refund.

Too cumbersome for what I needed

It isnt clear to me how to upgrade to Version 9, which is what I bought. I noticed another reviewer ordered Version 8 and received Version 7. So this may be a trend. That reviewer did not indicate they were able to upgrade on-line. And I didnt see any reply from the shipper. I was impressed with what Version 9 could do, but so far I am not impressed with Version 8. I hope the shipper corrects this. If you dont see an update from me, assume there was no response from the shipper, and try to find a different source or different software.

I purchased this a couple weeks ago. According the the box its EASY! No Design Experience Necessary Bull! When I opened the box to get the CD, a 494 page users Guide fell out. I dont have time to read a 494 page book before I can use this. I have an older copy of Punch Home Design and Landscaping. It is very user friendly, but I bought a new computer and I cant find the disc. I guess Ill just have to buy the newer addition of Punch. Dont waste your money on this product.

I am furious at myself. I spent two weeks researching DIY design software for a kitchen and living room remodel we are doing. I bought this and it is terrible. ZERO customer service or support. We wanted to enter a floor plan and make adjustments to the dimensions. The product claims to be easy to use, but holy smokes it is complicated. I expected to be able click on a wall and drag it. Or add a wall or a window. Way too many options and is not intuitive.

I invested a lot of time with this software, so returning it was a painful decision. The following outlines my experience:
