There is inconsistency in the height of the roller balls. It took using these periodically to understand what the problem was. The ball on a couple of them was dropped too low in the plastic bezel, causing scraping of my skin. The bottles do not leak at all, however the roller attachment is not good on the shipment I received. Because of this I will not order Vivaplex roller bottles again.
