I got the burgundy color and it’s a nice quality umbrella. It pops open forcefully with the push of the button, and takes some strength to close, so definitely an adult umbrella. I was hoping to find a compact umbrella for my daughter to keep in her backpack, but this is one I plan to keep for myself in my car. My daughter wasn’t able to close it by herself. I took it out in a gusty storm today and it held up great. No smells out of the package and feels high quality.

Very sturdy umbrella. The power open and close is great, but you do have to collapse the stick of the umbrella after auto close which takes quite a bit of force. Overall a very good umbrella and very sturdy.

Vivian and Tommy will need to return to their research lab and determine if this product can hold up to light rain and wind elements. It cannot. :-( After five minutes of utilizing the umbrella outside, a mild wind grabbed the umbrella, reversed it, and subsequently, the flimsy metal ribs were snapped in two immediately. The umbrella was damaged permanently and could not be popped open due to the damaged metal ribs. I understand one gets what one pays for (usually) but with just five minutes of use, this theory is actually pushing the allowances a bit.

Good open and closing action. Compact. Has some weight due to mechanism but not too bad. Handles NYC rain storm very well.

Loved this umbrella! It was a little bit hard to understand how it works but once I got it I was very happy with it. It’s very sturdy and the quality is great too. The size is good both opened and closed. I really recommend it!

I love this umbrella its so easy all I have to do is press the button and it pops open. It is also very easy to close and Its sturdy and exactly what I needed.

The very forst time we used this..It turned inside out!! Not weather proof and super hard to close!

This umbrella is an absolute nightmare, once open it takes all my strength to get this garbage closed. I cant use it anymore. Lost my money.

***Five-month follow up. Well, it is not as sturdy as I had thought. One really strong storm, and one of the stainless steel ribs broke. Wish it had been sturdier, as I don’t think the storm was exceptionally strong. I docked two stars now for this. The first thing I noticed after taking it out of the box was that it really ‘felt’ solid. So many umbrellas feel flimsy and this one does not. The automatic open and close button works fine (enabling one-handed operation), and the open umbrella seems to be well-reinforced against strong winds. I expect that this will serve me well for a while - as long as I don’t leave it somewhere!
