Vocaloid3 KAITO V3 [Japan Import]

以前から欲しがっていたので娘へのプレゼント。

V1KAITO未経験、x64環境のため、V1との比較や付属エディタの使い心地については書けません。あしからず。※改行を減らしました。

付属ソフトのお得感につられて購入したのですが正直ビックリしました。

ＫＡＩＴＯ当初のバージョンを使っていました。そのため表現が難しく苦労していました。このVer.3では囁きから力強い表現までがセットされており表現の仕方に幅ができました。また英語バージョンもあり今まで日本語的な音しか出せなかったのですが、本格的な英語の発音になり不自然さがなくなりました。価格的にも従来のものと比べればコストパフォーマンスは良くなっています。

Like most fans probably were, even I had mixed feelings after hearing some of KAITOs V3 demos. It became apparent that many, including myself, missed his V1 sound. It wasnt until I heard Crescent Moon (done by the same person who did Senbonzakura....its a related song) that I truly fell in love with his V3 voice and I wanted to own him, along with MEIKO V3. Both KAITO and MEIKO are my first time having a Vocaloid, and both have been happy purchases. While KAITOs new voice recordings produces a sound that is a little different from V1, it is still an amazing package!

機械音痴なためふるさとを歌わせるのに２ヶ月程掛かりました。まだ調教がほぼ出来ない状態で歪なメロディーですが、声を聞けた時は感動しました。KAITOを買って良かったです。これから覚えていくことが沢山ありますが、それだけもっと上手くなる可能性もあるという事なので頑張っていきたいです。

I really wanted Kaito V3 because I have no other male singer libraries. He comes with three discs. Two of them contain his voice banks JPN Straight, JPN Soft, JPN Whisper, and finally English. One is for windows installation and the other is Mac. The Final Disc is the Studio 2 Artist Piapro Edition. Piapro Studio and the Mutant Vst Plugin are on the Kaito Disc. You must first install Studio 2 first to get Piapro to work but whats better is just having the VOCALOID 3 or 4 editor. He can be used by beginners but, Im an intermediate user of vocaloid. Kaitos Straight voicebank is a struggle to edit. It was suppose to replicate his original V1 voice. Soft and Whisper are very easy to edit and are Fine. His English VB is understandable and slightly smooth but, he still has the Japanese accent so he wont sound like a native speaker. The VB is good when working with his straight voicebank. But Kaitos English VB is not suggested by me to compose Rock songs. Over all, I think this purchase was a great deal.

KAITO V3 is the newest Male for the Vocaloid 3 engine that comes from Crypton Future media home of Vocaloid 2 super Star Miku Hatsune. I put newest male bcause in actuality KAITO is actually on of the original Voice Banks from the Vocaloid 1 era. (Along with Vocaloid LEON, LOLA, MIRIAM, and MEIKO) In terms of quality compared to other Vocaloid 3 voices KAITO is a bit on the lacking side. However here is some of the positives before the critiquing. On the one the plus KAITO is sold as an all in one/Starter Vocaloid that has 4 voice banks for users to play with including Straight, Whisper, Soft, and English. Along with this V3 KAITO also has access Piapro Studio which is a small DAW system that can import V3 KAITO and a few other synthesizer so that a user doesnt need to go out and buy a DAW. Also KAITO is the first adult male that has a full english bank that is for the Vocaloid 3 era. (The only other current Male english voice bank at the time of this review that is on the Vocaloid 3 editor exclusively is Oliver who is based on a young male child (However other English Males can be imported using the Vocaloid import tool option in the Full version of Vocaloid 3))

This voice set is probaly the most all round you can buy for the vocaloid 3 or 4 engine. His english while it is not bad it has quirks any bilingual vocaloid has such as R and L are usaully the same sound but his problems can be worked out if you want to spend alittle extra work. Also comes with studio one and piapro studio so its really a great starter and the only crypton vocaloid worth buying.

The item arrived right on time. It was also is very good condition. Thank you. All instructions in the program are in Japanese, but most of it can be installed in English. It comes with Kaitos 4 voices: Straight, Soft, Whisper, and English, Studio One 2.5 Artist Edition, Piapro, and a Tiny Vocaloid 3 Editor. Piapro is the only program that cannot be installed in English. It is only in Japanese. (You have the option of using the Tiny V3 Editor instead, however.) Overall, Im really enjoying the program and it is completely compatible with Windows 8.
