> 3 dayI originally bought this fan for myself, but after a couple nights my husband got a hold of it, and now i will have to purchase another one. Its just the right noise level for a relaxing sleep sound. It also had just the right amount of airflow, not too forceful. It is made well, and durable. I will definitely buy again, and would consider buying as a gift. It would be especially useful for college dorms.

> 3 dayIm a fan of fans, a connoisseur even Id like to believe. At last count, Ive got 15 of them. Every room in my house has one, some have a couple, with multiple backups in the basement ready to go if needed. For desks and travel, I have a rotation of fans. My main one for the past couple years has been a Holmes rechargeable mini fan...which frankly has been great, but my one gripe was its range of motion while plugged in. So I decided to try something new. I like Vornados, and have a few floor models (None in the active rotation though). While Ive seen the Flippi V6 for years now, Ive never tried it and figured now was the time. I wish I hadnt, for a few reasons: - Its big for what it is. This thing isnt really sized to travel, even when folded away. It takes up significant desk real estate too...comparitively speaking. - The wheel to change speeds/turn off is moronic. One of the illogical things Ive seen on a fan. You have to go high to get low and use two hands to make any change. Its discrete at least, but from a function perspective, its just really bad design. - The disparity between the two speeds is huge. They really need something in the middle because the junp between them is irrational and deprives me of the the goldilocks zone speed. - Its loud compared to other disk fans. Even on low, while its for sure not loud, the sound is more than when youre getting in terms of wind. The high speed is very loud, and its not just the blade sound, the unit vibrates at the base when on high, which resonates on the table and contributes to the noise. For a nightstand fan, the sound is fine and maybe even soothing, but for a desk fan, especially in a shared office setting, its a non-starter. Ultimately, this fan is getting returned. It looks pretty, I love the cord length and the range of motion, but thats all. Super dissapointed and Id expect more from Vornado.

> 3 dayI don’t know what to think. This seems like a joke. Just 2 speeds and the second speed is not very powerful. You get what you pay for.

> 3 dayI would buy this again. It is tiny but powerful. Fast shipping.

> 3 dayMy only problem with the Vornado is that its difficult to operate the switch without picking it up and using two hands. I made a mod by drilling a hole in the switch and sticking in a nail (in the photo its in the high speed position; off is all the way to the left and low is all the way to the right). Now I can use one hand to operate the switch, but I still have to hold the fan down with my fingers and use my thumb to do the switching.

> 3 dayIt moves air, sure. It’s best suited for small areas or close up, but, holy loud! I hate it for this reason. The air it moves is not worth its loudness.

> 3 dayIt produces a great air stream. It’s a little louder than I’d prefer but I still like it.

Greater than one weekFor a small desk fan it’s okay. It does have a forceful air flow but it’s kind of noisy. I can’t hear my partner over it and have to continuously turn it off to have her repeat herself. You also have to go higher on the setting to get to the off switch which throws me off every time. Would I buy it again? Probably not. I’d spend more money to get something nicer and quieter.

Greater than one weekI sleep with a fan on every night. I like the white noise it makes plus the breeze. And traveling with a normal size fan isn’t feasible, this little one works pretty well. Would buy again.
