> 3 dayGlad I found this. Took me back decades. Fun to watch. As a movie, its pretty cheesy...but hey, what do you expect?? Suspend reality or any expectations and enjoy the ride. Life is short.

> 3 dayFinally on Blu-ray. The picture quality is as good as I’ve ever seen it (and I’ve seen or owned some poor quality prints) so I am very happy to have it. Brings back all of those good childhood Saturday afternoon memories. It’s amazing how much a young mind supplies to the missing pieces of a movie and that’s rarely truer than on “Voyage Into Space” which cobbles together about 100 minutes of footage of the “Johnny Sokko and His Flying Robot” TV series into a whiz bang never resting for a moment series of alien espionage encounters of Johnny and his adult James Bondish compatriot who battle the garish Gargoyle gang while his giant Egyptianized indestructible robot battles some of the weirdest giant aliens that have ever graced the small screen. Seeing a giant bowling ball that sprouts nodal “arms” that can fire missiles and grappling hooks leaves an impression but there are some truly mind-blowing (and bending) encounters with none topping the giant floating eyeball which ends up sprouting legs. Mind you this is live action with practical effects! And it has to be seen to be believed! Believe it! Quality aside 5,000,000 stars!

15-11-2024I am so disappointed by the quality of the video. There is no way this was mastered from any of the original film or video tape. Whomever mastered this for digital should be tossed out. Truly awful work. When I was a little kid, we always looked forward to when this movie would come around. It is pure campy Japanese Sci-Fi. The story is not bad but if you keep a really good sense of humor about Japanese Sci-Fi, you will enjoy this movie. I just wish the quality of the digital master was even reasonably good.

> 3 dayOk, short and sweet, HORRIBLE VHS to DVD-R copy and on top of this mess the movie is tagged throughout with SC for Sinister Cinema. Whats wrong with you sinister cinema? I wouldnt lay claim to this LOUSY copy at all, even a free copy is to much. Your production of this classic flick is a slap in the face. I will never buy another production from you EVER.

> 3 dayOkay, I dont know if this is an illegal copy or not. I suppose it depends on if the film is in public domain or not. Regardless, this was recorded using a Panasonic DVD recorder (I recognize the menu). I assume its been copied from an old VHS copy. Its watchable, but the quality is comparable to an old, overused VHS tape.

> 3 dayOne of my favorite movies as a kid. When compared to modern films you can definitely see the humor in the special effects. But through a childs eye these movies were the bomb. Enjoy a great Japanese classic.
