It works just like the original, the battery charges pretty fast. I would recommend these as the best budget replacement. Stay away from the 2.4ghz style that require you to use the dongle taking up a USB port.

These feel and function a lot like the original PS3 controllers. My kids still like playing games that I have had but the old controllers were wore out. These work fine and have held up to a 7 and 9 year old for awhile.

Ive gone through a lot of ps3 controllers over they years. I kept on buying the OEM controllers. I even fixed them a few times.
