> 3 dayI’m using these to sand my metal railings around my house. They work great. I wish they held up a little better. But they are doing the job.

Greater than one weekI needed an extra fine pad to polish out scratches on my Stainless Steel stove control panel. Worked perfectly saving me $120 replacement cost (do it yourself labor).

> 3 dayI have ordered this twice now and have still not received the advertised black medium grit. However, I have gotten the white non-abrasive variant and the Tan ExtraCut (both of which costs more) and luckily I have a use for both. Nice that I got to save some money on some pads which would have cost me more to buy but if you are looking for specifically the Medium grit black variant its pretty much a raffle/lottery for any of the grits that VSM makes. Nice but not nice.

> 3 dayNeeded these to do some light surface rust removal. I should probably cut them all in 1/2 or 1/3rds. Exactly the level of grit I was looking for. I specifically got them for some machined surfaces on my very old drill press. A little scrubbing and carb cleaner has the metal looking great, with a little old patina. This 10 pack was just enough to have on hand, and seemed to be a good price point.

> 3 dayI used this to fine finish wood between coats of a hard wax oil finish (Rubio mono coat). It sticks well to a hook and loop sander, and does what it’s supposed to do. I wish the pad didn’t come apart as easily, but I don’t have a frame of reference.
