> 3 dayI bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter, so I havent yet put it together or seen her in action with it, so I will have to further update this review after the holidays. It arrived fast--ordered on Friday and it got here on Monday. Im slightly disappointed in the frustration free packaging, but not enough to remove a star. It arrived with packaging intact in a plain brown box with vtech sit-to-stand walker printed on one side in plain black standard type print, so I knew immediately what it was. No big deal, its just the outer box right? Wrong! I opened that box expecting to see the brightly colored vtech box with a picture of an adorable kid playing with his walker with large bubble text touting all the wonderful features that this amazing toy can perform at the touch of your los finger with perhaps a cutout on one side for said lo to admire the nifty activity board and/or touch one or two buttons..... Instead, there was nothing but carefully packed bits and pieces wrapped oh so neatly in bubble wrap. Sure, its much easier to unpack than those boxes with everything zip tied together that are nearly impossible for Hercules to undo and result in lots of cursing and stabbing with the first available steak knife you finally break down and pull from the kitchen drawer (probably resulting, at least occasionally, in the need for an er trip complete with stitches and a tetanus injection). Ok, rant over. I hate hard to open packaging--and you dont have it with this, but I miss the pretty colored box. I guess theres not a best of both worlds option....yet. But I feel there should be, so companies like vtech and Amazon need to get on my bandwagon! Say No! to zip ties and yes! to pretty boxes! ....oh, but the toy looks great---I carefully removed a couple legs and slid the activity pad out--its a Christmas gift, so I had to be able to get it back in the box to wrap it up... (This actually comes with the 2 AA batteries taped to the back, ready to go in!! Yay!), and as I expected vtech makes a well constructed and thoughtfully planned toy. Parts are easy for small hands to operate and they have just enough bells and whistles to walk that fine line between a boring toy and an overwhelming toy. Im quite happy with it (having four kids of my own and running an in-home daycare for years, I am quite knowledgable as to what gets well used and what gets left to collect dust in the corner).....This toy wont be collecting dust bunnies for sure! I love that its both an active toy and a sitting still toy. If youre on the fence and perhaps wondering if maybe a pricier walker would be better, dont! Ive owned probably close to 12 different walkers over the years, and this one is by far one of the best. Its very stable too, in case that was a concern. I give it my two thumbs up, and now that Ive thrown in my two cents about the lackluster packaging and youve taken the precious time to read all of this, put this puppy in your shopping cart and order it! (And no, I didnt get any discount or free stuff to post this review or anything, but I would LOVE it if someone would tell me how in the world I do that! I buy stuff ALL the time on Amazon, like between 10-100 items every month. I want a discounted item every now and again too--and who doesnt love free stuff?)

> 3 dayLove this thing, keeps my daughter busy with all the buttons and flashing lights. She never really used it as a walker though. But she enjoys playing with it

Greater than one weekOur grandson had one at home, so we got him one for Christmas for our house. He really interacts with it a lot and uses it to help pull himself up (with us anchoring it). I believe he will be able to use it for at least a couple of years. It was easy to assemble and has been sturdy so far. Yes, the phone doesn’t stay attached well, but that doesn’t seem to bother him.

21-11-2024Got this for my 112 month old who is learning to walk. At first he just enjoyed playing with the gadgets on it. He loves the door that opens to play peekaboo. After a month he is using it now to help him walk. He plays with for 5-10 min. which is a long time for a 1 year old. Very happy I got this.

Greater than one weekI’ve only had this thing for about a month and my baby stood up using it. (She’s 7 months) It worked! I hope next month she’s able to give a few steps with it. Anyway, she loves playing with it, I would say it’s one of her favorites. I’m happy with it and I would definitely recommend or buy again as a gift.
