Great speaker but I found one that had the ability to pick up FM radio signal as well. So I returned this, only for that reason!

The sound is decent but the built-in equalizer makes it hard to control the loudness from my phone. The device normalizes the input volume, so try as I might some songs come on blaringly or too softly and the volume keys on my phone are futile. I use the speaker at work and it is good in a loud environment but Im almost constantly using the volume and equalizer functions between songs which is a distraction from my work. I have adjusted the output balance to compensate for more songs but its still a problem.

In honesty, was going to purchase the D8 mini only because it had the micro SD slot, but heard about this newer speaker that had more power to it. So, have had it about a month now, and am very impressed with the sound quality and design. Has a very large battery to it (12000 MA I believe) and two woofers and two tweeters and a large passive driver on the back of the unit. The buttons are located under the handle, and they are multifunction buttons, so make sure to read the manual to get the most out of this speaker. There are two EQ settings (activate by hitting button on far right), and the default is the one that has heavier bass, but when you hit the button, it drops the bass and increases the mids and highs. It has a good range when using bluetooth, have had no dropouts as of yet. I mostly use my unit with the MicroSD slot, and I currently have a 32GB card in it, and it accepts it fine. The exterior is covered with a rubbery coating, seems like it will withstand a day at the pool or beach, but do not believe that it can withstand submersion for a long period of time, so I wouldnt try it! :) Anyway, my main thing I do not like about this speaker is that you cannot customize the EQ to your liking. The defaults sound fine for virtually all genres of music, but would like more customization. And that the passive driver is essentially exposed on the back, means that a careless poke or drop could possibly rupture the material on the driver. Should have a speaker grille on it like the front drivers! How they missed that is incredible! Other than that, I still highly recommend this speaker. Have not cranked it up to max, mainly because I dont want to make my neighbors call the fuzz on me, but I know this thing could easily fill a room with sound. It is not really a party speaker, but it gets awfully close.

I bought one of these to use around my firepit at home. The sound was amazing even outdoors. I liked it so much I bought a second one to use at work in the car wash I manage. It fills the entire 110 tunnel with great sound! I use it now to play music for my customers depending on the holiday. They love it! I havent trying pairing them together yet, but Im looking forward to it.

I found this gem about 2 and 1/2 years ago, and ive been waiting to finally buy it, and let me say, this does not disappoint!! Deep rich sound and bass, and the fact that i can connect 2 at one time to get a stereo effect is amazing!! So i will be buying a second one. Easy to cary around and its loud!! Water proof, excellent battery life, this makes for the perfect pool party or beach get together! Its definitely a must buy!!!

I bought 2 of these to dj with, and havent tested them out at a venue or a house party yet, but I have used them in several environments, and I can tell you that they really are punchy and bassy. I take one everywhere with me in my SUV, Ive tested it out in different rooms of the house, Ive synced 2 to see how loud it gets, and I have noticed a couple of things to highlight. 1. They get loud, but not ridiculously overpowering, so thats a plus. The volume when turned to the lowest setting is still kind of loud, like for example, if youre trying to listen to music quietly, or at night. They sound great in my SUV. If you put one of these in a boxed in area, they bump so hard, for example, here, on the floorboard of my front passenger seat, yeah.... Boom boom boom boom. Thumps. So, you can get some super serious bass coming out of these if you put them in some kind of old school carpeted speaker box maybe? Thats just an idea Im thinking about doing for my gigs. Theyre ready to go right out the box. They take a while to charge, but with the sound these things are producing, the drawbacks (which arent many) are heavily overpowered by the positive aspects that these speakers have. Theyre light, theyre durable, theyre easy to sync up, and theyre great sounding. The price of these I would say is good, and if you order 2 of them, you definitely have a super great quality Left/Right audio mobile sound system that you can take with you on the go. You definitely need 2, but theyre worth the investment. I strongly suggest that you pick these over all the other available options that are on Amazon. These really are king. Wow.

Great sound quality. Great projection outdoors (I work outside). Incredible volume range, this thing gets LOUD. Bass register is powerful, trebles are clear. Got this on sale for $72, it beats out everything I own from JBL, Marshall, and Anker. Great portable speaker!
