Greater than one weekThe package arrived as scheduled. The price is the best Ive found. I do not use this for embroidery. I used it to stabilize slippery fabrics for sewing seams, hemming and placing pockets, appliques, and other hard to handle parts. This stabilizes the fabric and makes sewing easier. Then add water and it disappears. I highly recommend.

08-06-2025I really like using Brothread merchandise. Im currently using wash away stabilizer (aka water soluble or WSS) for fsl (free standing lace) and fsa (free standing applique). This is much better than the lightweight Pelon I use for emergencies. When doing fsl with New Brothread Wash Away M, you will need to double your layers. I was able to get away with a single layer on fsa but I dont recommend it if there is a lot of lace detail outside the fabric area. At $9.99 for 10 x 3 yrds, this was a decent price and an excellent alternative to the much hyped about and expressive Vilene. Just an FYI, many brands are created in the same factories with personalized labels. After testing a few different brands and types, I try to stick with the ones that have offered me a great price and excellent customer service. While I love and use New Brothread embroidry thread, I prefer to use H20 Gone stabilizer for fsl and fsa, sold by Amazon seller Superpunch, as it seems to be more firm in my opinion. I recommend this product, New Brothread Wash Away stabilizer, as it is consistently reliable once you become familiar with it.

> 3 dayThis product is fabulous! I use it as a stabilizer on the top of the material I am going to embroidery on. One youve finished the design, all you do is throw it in the washing machine for a short wash or soak it in a sink with water. You will never be able to tell that it was there.

> 3 dayThis is the first time trying this brand of stabilizer. So far it seems to be a good product. I do a lot of lace and freestanding embroidery designs, so I use a lot of water soluble stabilizer. The price is decent, there’s a good selection of roll widths and lengths. It washes out cleanly with no gumming up or stickiness.

Greater than one weekI was leery of buying this product because it is hard to see if it is vilene or actual water soluble like wet and gone so when it came i opened the box and looked at it and sure enough it was just the same looks the same works the same for a much more reasonable price.
