> 3 dayThe first thing I did was format and speed test in a Startech PCIE adapter. Got 3044MB/sec speed on a 64GB test file with CrystalDiskMark64 which is very fast! I need the speed for recording lossless video with a Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K. The small random writes are a lot slower as you would expect without built in RAM cache

Greater than one weekWhen I installed this, I booted machine and windows didn’t recognize it. I was utterly confused and didn’t know what to do. All the tutorials said to “update the drivers in device manager”. Eventually, I found a solution. You need to go to search, “partitions”, the first results should bring up a page where you can create a partition. Then boom, you have your ssd.
