El producto ya de por si es muy bueno, siendo ademas al precio que lo pusieron en su momento, fue una muy buena oportunidad para comprarlo. Para los que tienen dudas de si este SSD NVMe que es Gen4 es compatible con motherboards que sean Gen3, la respuesta es si, pero claramente no podrás exprimirlo al máximo ya que en una placa madre Gen3 llegas a una velocidad tope de lectura de 3700 - 3800 MB/s y velocidad de escritura de 3300 - 3400 MB/s (al menos en mi caso), no me afecta tanto porque lo cambie por un HDD y es un cambio brutal. Ya depende de ti si quieres exprimirlo al máximo o no, pero ya en cualquiera de los casos tocaría comprar un disipador para que no sufra tanto. Para juegos, se nota en las pantallas de carga que demoran menos y disfrutar sin problemas.

Im not a gamer, so I dont have the criteria to make an accurate review. So far, the SSD has worked fine and I havent had problems with it or storage issues.

Boots up super fast and was easy to install !!

I had a 2.5 SATA drive as my boot/system disk, and while I knew there wouldnt be much difference in performance, the chance to remove a couple of cables was too much to resist.

Not sure why SONY doesnt give us more storage than what it comes with since games nowadays are huge in storage size, but I needed to expand my PS5 before I hit that limit. This was easy to install and worked right away.

This is an name drive so it is super easy to install and 1tb is a good start for a simple gaming rig. Keep about 100gb free for the drives internal housekeeping and youll have smooth sailing for years to come.

I trust this M.2 my operative system. I chose a lower capacity 500MB and higher speed for this purpose and It was the best decision given the budget I had at the moment. Im considering going for the SN850 next year for even higher speed and capacity.

What else is there to say? NVME storage is just straight up better than the alternatives and Western Digital has long been a solid brand in pc data storage Fast, doesnt require cables or a spot to be mounted to in your case, and is now fairly affordable and only going to get cheaper over time. Would highly recommend using one until the next version of storage comes out.
